Ranking Up

1. Need at least 10 500 Score at the end. (5000 from Surviving + 2000 Hatch Escape + 1000 - 8000 Skill check Points + Boldness Points )
2. Score wise, you need to rush to the generators & get at least 1 or 2 Fully fixed to get the 1000 Point extra for doing 80% of it.
3. You do nothing & hide all game, will equal no points for you nor rank. Even if you survive, you will not go pass 10 500 Score.

4. " JUST DO IT " . Don't sit around . "JUST DO IT" . Don't Hide . " JUST DO IT" .
5. By the way... You can still get a rank up even if you die ... if you "JUST DO IT".
Survivor
List of face-palm worthy noob-mentality
1. Going into a Wardrobe. You make the loudest squeaking noise & breath like thunder inside.
2. Walking all-game. The longer the generators are fixed. The longer you're not leaving.
3. Opening a chest near a killer.By the time you closed the chest, you're likely now hooked.
4. Running around from team-mates that are trying to heal you.
5. Dropping pallets/planks/boards thinking it will stop killer's path. You NEVER want to pre-drop the pallets. They're POINTS to stun + you only use them as a last resort.

Top 3 Tips for 1.0update Ranking
• Fix 2 generators (if 4 players with 5 generators), once done the trapdoor will spawn.
• Listen for the *DIIING* queue sound for the timed event whenever doing an action.
• Find an infinite loop juking area to escape the killer eg. in beta the shed use-to have 2 windows that you could constantly juke through. A current eg is the lodge with the 2nd floors & the factory with the 3 windows.

Important FYI Points
- If you get hit or attacked or grabbed when doing the jumping into trapdoor animation, your body will go invisible & you will get caught/die/lose. Hence, wait until the monster is far away from the trapdoor. If he is camping it, juke him & give yourself at least 1 second space to jump without getting struck.
- Trapdoors spawn 80% by buildings(factory/tunnel/lodge/fallen balloon). 30% by landmarks (shed/bus/Red tractor). 20% by Objectives (Generators/Hooks). 10% between 2 trees /ruins/cornfield

List "YOU SHOULD know as a runner"
• sometimes leave the ones near the exit (edges of the map) 99% complete - Finish it off as the last 1
• when repairing listen for "wiiiiiiiingg~~" sound for the warning to do the time-event
• Other player(s) can help you get healed. Don't run away if your team-mates is chasing you to help. The worst.
• If you start near a house/chest & you dont have an item. Go get 1 & try get the toolbox
• Toolbox is the most op tool. Sabotage all the hooks & stay hell away from the killer's basement where there is always 4hooks that you cannot destroy
• walk through grass or avoid them entirely to avoid bear traps
• grass isnt good cover, always try to find a big boulder or a house (without basement) with 2 windows to vault & juke the killer
• Use third person & the killers red light to your advantage in avoiding the killer
• If you hear a heart-beat try use it sometimes to figure out where he is.
• Heal your allies when you can.
• Unhang allies but wait till the killer is distracted or setting up a bear-trap
• try to not run as much near the killer if he doesnt see you as it makes red marks (like bleed trails)
• You can do an infinite juke where there are 2 windows near each other eg. top of factory or in shed

Tools: Press SPACE BAR to trigger special Add-on bonus
Map: good to check where the killer might head towards or for you to quickly find a generator
Flashlight: You have to aim DIRECTLY at the killer's eyes for 1.5-2seconds; Which is rather insane. So dont do it unless you want to. Only use on an invisible Wraith.
Medkit: 2nd best kit as you be a distraction and take 1 blow & heal yourself.
Toolbox: N#1 item, make sure you go directly to hooks and destroy them all. Run away from the basement
Skeleton Key - has special abilities like seeing teammates' aura & can unlock trapdoor after 2 generators are complete

Last survivor 1 v1 :
FInd the trapdoor!! You will hear a wooooooooooo~~ windy sound near 1. Its usually near a house or inside the factory. If you are the only person you can go into it instantly. BUT be careful because the spot might be saturated with traps.

Traits of Survivors
1. Dwight - Leader
2. Meg - Silent cat girl
3. Claudette - Botany trained Healer
4. Jake - Trap destroyer
Hookers
Wraith with white bandages
Trapper with Strings

Hillbilly with plates

Update: Hook is no longer based on killer, just map.
Prestige At Max Level
What Happens when I prestige?
• Max level is 50
• You can only Prestige 3 times.
• You get a new customizable clothing when prestiged. (bloodied version)
• You lose all your perks, addons & items.
• Increase the chances of rare items appearing in the Blood-web.
• You go back to level 1.

You lose all perks, addons and items, but you gain 1 customization item for that character; a bloodied version of one of their base customization options.

You also gain an increased chance of rare items appearing in the Bloodweb.

I've only prestiged once, so unsure about the other 2 prestiges, but I assume they just give you the other 2 bloodied items.
Killer
Killer runs faster than any Survivor.
I swear ... I'm a survivor... on my life *cough* ;;;
Top 3 Tips for 1.0update Ranking
• Listen for generators & see if the pistons are moving. Each piston are approximately 25% completion
• Predict where survivors will go after they finish fixing a generator. Eg. They will head to the left or right generators or go to the back of the area where YOU might've hid.
• Putting players on hooks is not always the best solution. If need be, leave player(s) in dying state (crawling)

-Find the trapdoor when you got spare time to stop last survivor to escape - should have a woooo~ hollow pipe wind noise near it
-Try kill & hang victims in your basement to not consume a hook.
-Find your basement with hooks as these do not get destroyed once used to sacrifice.
-Move around onjectives and see if the gears are making noise - if it is, someone is close
- look for red footprints or blood trails
- Listen to people's repair errors and listen for the crows in the area to see if you need to go right or left
- To be a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥ & evil, camp or slightly have an eye over the victims hanged
- To be tricky, kill 2, let 1 on the crawl status & hunt the last 1 to stop him using the trapdoor if the generators are all fixed
- Keep in mind where your hooks are & once used to kill someone, they will disappear. They are all one-time use & can get sabotaged by toolbox holders

Using a DOWN-state Murder attack option Offering. Only works after the victims falls to the ground (pick-up & drop to reset the dropped status)
Wraith Kill-style
1. Walk in the path (edges of the map) where survivors take; appear behind them or in their walk path.
2. If you have the perk, use the perk called Insidious (Makes your terror radius 0). This will make people thing you are invisible, but you are not.
3. If you have a feeling no one going to save the hooked, go invisible to make people doing generators make mistakes from fear.
4. ANTI-WRAITH - Flashlight on his toes, it will stun him & force him to go visible.
5. ANTI-WRAITH - ALL half-to-infinite juke spots. Survivors can tank 1 hit & continue to waste Wraith's time.
6. ANTI-WRAITH - Finishing Generators 99% or completing them really fast as wraith cannot punish as hard even at late game. Whereas others: Hillbilly 1-shotting or late-game traps everywhere.
Hillbilly
1. Use the chain saw in open areas to get 1-shot kill.
2. Use the chain as a gap closer & to get really close to your prey.
3. If you can use your offerings to go to the corn-field it will be advantageous.
4. Use the chainsaw like a mini-gun; rev-up the saw at 99% & then max it when the person is straight ahead, however do not over-use as you walk slower & cannot listen to your surroundings.
5. ANTI-Hillbilly - Dance with rocks & trees
6. ANTI-Hillbilly- Survivors running in the out-skirts of the map. Hillbillies tend to stay in the middle to get max chain-sprints.
Trapper
1. Put traps in windows/grass/narrow-path
2. Lay one under the feet of the hanged; if you place directly below hanged, the hanged will get trapped + the disarm feature will not be available to survivors to unhook - it will push their bodies to the unhooking animation. However if you place in front of the hooked, the hero will get trapped + the down-side is that the trap can be disarmed. Placing in front is better to catch the brave players as the hooked victim was merely live-bait.
3. Trap the route to the trapdoor. Placing the trap above the trapdoor does not prevent the jump-animation, hence place a few steps away.
4. ANTI- TRAPPER - Jake & Toolbox & Perks relating to traps like "small Game".
5. ANTI- TRAPPER - Survivors completing generators in tall grass first.
6. ANTI- TRAPPER - Survivors spamming left-click when walking through grass
Nurse
1. Hold down blink, longer you hold = the further you get
2. When you see a survivor try blink right behind them, remember: you only have 2 blinks so make it count
3. You also run only 3% faster than survivors, so dont bother trying to catch up to them without blink
4. ANTI - NURSE - Running at her while she is charging her blink can guarentee she will not hit you as she can not cancel her blink and she will teleport away from you
5. ANTI - NURSE - Running around objects can SOMETIMES make her autoaim hit a wall/object. If you run this strat make sure its a long wall/truck/whatever.
The Shape/Michael Myers
1. Keep in mind that Myers has max stalking capability for each survivor. Meaning he can only stalk one person for so long until he can no longer gain any more Evil Within "juice" from that survivor.
2. A strat that works very well with Myers is to charge up your evil within meter to the 99% point for Evil Within Level 2. Then get right behind the survivor and quickly fill the meter to 100% granting you Evil Within Level 3 and hit them. As it does double damage they will be insta downed.
3. ANTI - MYERS - Breaking line of sight is the best thing you can do against a myers, as he will not be able to stalk you. Even if just for a short time, it's still less time with him in Evil Within 3.

How to Juke
1. If you can, use the planks/pellets/boards as a last resort. Killers breaking this is going to get your team killed & feeding points. Learn how to run around the plank until he gets into lunge-strike range - You will draw more time & can spare the plank for another time.
2. The plank boards are your best friend. Not the windows nor the grass or the random rock you ran pass.
3. Shift+up+Space bar on a plank board will push you in-front of the board and drop the board. This should only be used if you see the red light behind your back or the killer is really close. The reason is to use the board to stumble the killer to create more time + stagger points.
4. Run up to a un-touched board & stand just pass the middle and watch who is behind you. At the right moment you should drop the board on the killer's face. Run around it till he decides to break it. Then move to the next board or crouch nearby & the killer will lose you (sometimes).
5. STAY CALM. Try enjoy 1v1 eye-battle with the killer. Do not rush jumps or pulling down boards, you will get flanked in the middle of the animation.
6. Window juking is relatively dangerous as lag can factor in. So ONLY do this if you have 2 good windows near each other to use or just use it once or twice and leave & find a plank.
7. You can Hold a few good seconds around a generator to buy some time to figure out your next escape path.
8. Hiding in tall grass is risky. Not recommended against a trapper, if you are, spam left-click.
9. Don't hide in wardrobes, you breath like a yeti in a tornado storm + 1-shot death if found.
10. Don''t even think of trying to hide if you are bleeding. You're blood is everywhere & you can hear your chanting from a mile away.
11. Sometimes, it is best to tank a blow & get injured then jumping that window or plank straight away if your killer is really close. This is to prevent the 1-hit KO grab animation. Perfect when you have a heal ready straight after the blow.
12. To be a master juker, you self-heal while your killer is thinking how to chase behind a window/plank/infinite loops. All characters can learn self-heal after level 30 or use a med-kit.
13. Do a U-turn around a corner.
14. Wait till the killer is in pellet breaking animation then hide nearby crouched camouflaged.
15. Run to a finished generator & hide by it.
16. Run on top of a hill then crouch on the top. It works surprisingly on some.

17. Maps can sometimes have infinite loops, however these can also sometimes be blocked up. Examples:
• Iron Works# Factory 3rd floor with 2 windows ; the 2nd floored house ; the mine tunnels;WARNING 1 exception with 0 Infinite loops - the Elder tree (in the middle with a generator & 1 chest) Map.
• Cornfield# the Fallen balloon + Butcher house by the rusted rails
• Junk Yard# At the lodge ; The shop with 3 windows side by side, 2 out of the 3 windows will always be blocked

Counter inifinite loops
• Wraith, go invisible & body block the window they're about to go over & then go visible to show that you're blocking their path.
• Hillbilly, get lucky with a 1-shot chain attack when they're on the window.
• Trapper, super trap pre-hand the infinite loop areas. Then push your prey into those areas.
• Nurse, Just blink.
• Michael Myers, get to evil within 3, your speed is increased, vault throw windows and catch up quickly

How to Save Otakus from Hookers

Step 1
1. Run to the hooker, Couch, Stand, Crouch, Stand, Run.
Step 2
2. Run back to the hooked, Couch, Stand, Crouch, Stand, Leave.
Step 3
3. Run inside the closest wardrobe & listen to the hooked get sacrificed.
If this method did not work. Please let me know.

Against a Trapper Hooker
• Follow them as soon as they pick the victim up.
• Wait till they start the trap set-up animation, as soon as it starts rush to un-hook.
• If you have a tool-box or have Saboteur perk, RIGHT-CLICK to try destroy the trap if the unhook option overrides the disarm the trap below the hooked.
Against a Wraith Hooker
• Go rescue as soon as the wraith goes invisible.
• Stun the wraith with a flashlight if he is invisible then unhook.
• Look around the hooked area for an escape route, then go in & tank 1-hit with an unhook straight after.
Against a Hillbilly Hooker
• Look around for an obstacle or an escape path that can dodge the chain-saw.
• As soon as the killer turns behind a wall without chainsaw charged up, go unhook.
• If the killer is bad with his chainsaw, just tank a hit (the sledge-hammer attack) & unhook.
Against a Camper Hooker
• Go to a nearby generator & explode it as often as possible, to provoke the killer to head your way. Or go in plain sight about 10 metres away & make vaulting noise Or Peeka boos in closets.
• Look around the hooked's area & look for TWO (not one), 2, escape routes; pellets &/or windows.
• If your run path is determined, tank a blow away from the hook: this is important to give you some time+distance with the speed boost you get from getting hit.
Other Tips

Just spam the skill but not long enough to lose HP.
Basically you wanna take as much time from the camping killer so your team can actually do something .

Testing Host's Ping / if the game will be Laggy
In the waiting lobby spam " . " or " 1 " & if the message appears takes longer than 1 second then leave. If shorter then it should be fine.

Max Blood Currency is 500k
With 500k Blood Currency I went from level 4 Dwight to barely level 16.

offerings-
Thickening mist is great to survive under. Do not use darken mist as a killer unless you are a trapper.

tools
Map - burrito - is great for more blood currency
Flashlight - wand - if you want to snipe the killer
Tool box - lunch-box - good against sabotaging the bear traps
First Aid - med kit - best item in the game

Camping Survivors
• Not only do birds alert the killer when you run pass them, but they show where campers are too.
• Stay inside a wardrobe too long, birds will sit on it.
• Stay in a corner for too long, multiple birds will fly & spin above you.

Comments
- the trapdoor section does not add up to 100% *
@Vice, Im assuming you are talking about the trapdoor. It depends on the MAP. Some maps the houses are not the place where it will spawn. Would you prefer me saying ... "ummmmmmmmmmm the trapdoors are completely RANDOM... go figure it out yourself. "
The percentage was a hunch estimation to give everyone a approximation of where you should be scouting.
Trapdoors, Or Also Known As Black-Locks
Pictures to come
trapdoor spawns after certain conditions are met:
2 generators are complete
2 Survivors left
Will not spawn/open if a person has disconnected (un-plugged symbol).

Trapdoor in the map of the Elder tree, can be in the ruins/trees/by the elder tree / at the Factory, it's 99% inside the factory / at the mine tunnels, it's 99% behind the tunnel's wooden wall.
At the Cornfied with the butcher house, the trapdoor can be inside the butcher place/inside the cornfield/landmarks/ by the exit gates
At the Junkyard, the trapdoor is nearly 99% at the lodge/ by the bus / 99% behind the shop with 3 windows/ in a random area near an objective.
Glitchers/Contributions
Nasa's Space squad
1. Have a survivor do an heal animation (do not complete), near a hill or crane.
2. While the other player is doing the heal animation, as a killer/survivor, walk over them.
3. Wala~
4. You now reached the moon... or ... you probably need to restart your game as you fell off the map.

Hillbilly's Rocket Express
1. Go on top of a hill as Hillbilly
2. Rev the chainsaw near the edge of the hill to max to hit the edge while walking back to fall
3. Wala~
4. You now can parkour Hillbilly. Bounce over wardrobes & pellets like Mario!

The Unfair double Sword Swing (Animation Cancelling)
1. As a killer, hit a survivor near a wall or collision
2. In the swing animation, walk into the collision wall frames
3. Wala~
4. You now have cancelled the weapon blood cleaning animation

Other glitches that are not sure how to trigger:
1. Make the hatch disappear from game
2. Teleport into collision walls; e.g. get stuck inside piles of hay
3. Teleport outside the exit gates, forcing an early survival escape.
4. Levitating items; drop an item then pick a different item to make the items levitate higher & higher
5. Make your character in-game levitate as if being held by the killer
6. (Beta) Have 15 survivors & 1 killer in a single game
7. Have trapper's traps sink into the game floor to be invisible.
8. Appear in the survivor lobby in a killer's costume.
9. Become immune to other players interacting with you as a survivor; Killer cannot pick you up nor other survivors can heal you.

You can trigger that by crawling into a corner where a closet is next to it.

If 2 Survivor's body-block you in the basement (Only 2) and they crouch, you cannot hit them, I doubt you will believe me on this, but just try it in a KYF match

@jakb360I RL Trader , So, basically every week there is this shrine that contains 4 teachable perks. To purchase these perks you must collect shards. You earn 1 shard per minute you spend in game. Once you have enough, and you purchase one, that perk can now appear on any of your characters bloodwebs. I'm planning on doing a massive update to this guide and will include some info on the shrine :)

@Community, I have added 2 new contributors that I used to play a lot with. I'm currently occupied with military stuff so I'll let them update the nurse & new character + future content

once, i saved someone on a hook while the dying animation started, they survived but they floated up like being carried to paradise, they were up in the sky the entire match so they were invisible 0-0 this is a glitch that can sometimes happen and you can trigger by doing the above ^ it is also really funny to look at them floating upwards

@Kaisen, can you explain the tactic. I'll quote it under your name. I think i get what they're doing but just to be sure.
