Super Cyborg - 100% Achievement Guide

A complete guide to almost "easy" 100% on an extremely hard game.

Introduction

This is an extremely hard game but thankfully there are 3 very helpful cheat codes that appear on your screen after you beat the game on hard difficulty but you gonna need them even for playing on the easy difficulty.

You should play with D-Pad not with the stick. D-Pad is more accurate. Also make sure to have always the "S" weapon. It covers lot of the screen and it's very helpful when you have to shoot diagonal.

On level 5 there is a point where the path splits in 2 ways, up and down. You have to go up to reach the mini boss.

Disturbed symbiosis

Destroy level-5 boss

Empty shell

Destroy level-6 boss

Survival of the fittest

Destroy level-7 boss
As the description says.

Total devastation

Destroy everything
After the level-7 boss there is a mini boss. Beat it to earn the achievement.

Savior of the universe

Complete the game on 'Easy' difficulty setting
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on Easy to earn this achievement.

Hero for ages

Complete the game on 'Normal' difficulty setting
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on Normal to earn this achievement.

Inhuman

Complete the game on 'Hard' difficulty setting
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on Hard to earn this achievement.

Godlike

Complete the game on any difficulty setting with no deaths
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on any difficulty setting with no deaths to earn this achievement.

Assuming you will go for the easy way and do only the last level your first goal would be to reach the checkpoint (pink area - elevator) with no deaths. After that if you die doesn't matter, just quit and press continue to start from the checkpoint instead of doing the entire level from the start.

Addicted to destruction

Complete the game on any difficulty setting 2 times in a row
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on on any difficulty setting 2 times in a row to earn this achievement.

You have to do it in 1 session without closing the game.

Gunslinger

Complete the game on any difficulty setting using only alternate firing
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on any difficulty setting to earn this achievement. It's highly recommended to activate the 40 Lives cheat code cause you're gonna die a lot.

Don't wait to fully charge your attack. Just tap the alt fire button not too fast though. Assuming you will go for the easy way and do only the last level and having also 40 lives your first goal would be to reach the checkpoint (pink area - elevator). After that if you get a game over doesn't matter, just press continue to start from the checkpoint with 40 lives again instead of doing the entire level from the start.

Ultra Ultimate Super Cyborg

Complete the game on 'Hard' difficulty setting with no deaths
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on hard with no deaths to earn this achievement.

Assuming you will go for the easy way and do only the last level your first goal would be to reach the checkpoint (pink area - elevator) with no deaths. After that if you die doesn't matter, just quit and press continue to start from the checkpoint instead of doing the entire level from the start.

On the third phase of the final boss with the 2 eyes what you have to do is to equally shoot both eyes. Do not focus on one eye only. You have to do that in order to kill both eyes almost at the same time otherwise if you focus only on one eye then you will need more time to kill the 2nd one and that will be extremely hard cause once there is only one eye it goes crazy fast on attacking you.

This is by far the hardest achievement in the game.

The ultimate team

Complete the game on any difficulty setting in coop mode
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on any difficulty setting in coop mode to earn this achievement.

Bodyguard

Complete the game on any difficulty setting in coop mode without any single shot and deaths from player 2
You can either complete the entire game or just use the level select cheat code and complete only the last level on any difficulty setting in coop mode without any single shot and deaths from player 2 to earn this achievement.

Assuming you will go for the easy way and do only the last level your first goal would be to reach the checkpoint (pink area - elevator) without any single shot and deaths from player 2. After that if player 2 die or accidentally shoot doesn't matter, just quit and press continue to start from the checkpoint instead of doing the entire level from the start.

To earn this achievement even easier you can do it alone without a help from a friend.
First you gonna need a software like JoyToKey or Xpadder. These programs are usefull for games that don't support controller. They let you map the keyboard buttons to your controller. Super Cyborg of course has already controller support but you gonna need it in order to map the buttons of the 2nd player in to the 1st player's controller to move both characters at the same time.

Go to the options of the game and set player 1 on gamepad and player 2 on keyboard. Also make sure both players have the lock button on hold not switch.

On JoyToKey or Xpadder map the keyboard buttons of Up, Down, Left, Right, Jump and Lock of the 2nd player in to the controller and you're ready. When you start playing place the 2nd player right behind the 1st player to make them as one. As long as you manage to earn the Godlike achievement then you can easily get the Bodyguard too.

Super deadman

Die 100 times
You have to die 100 times in 1 session on the same save slot without closing the game. Do NOT quit and start new game on the same save slot.

Life stealer

Steal a life while playing coop mode
I'm still not sure how this achievement works. When I first tried it with a friend I died until get game over and nothing happened. When we tried it again he died and I got the achievement. He also said that he pressed the jump button.

If someone knows how exactly this achievement works please let me know to update the info.

Real power

Use maximum charged alternate fire for all weapons
The weapons are: D, M, S, E and L. Just use a maximum charged alternate fire once for all of them.

Award for effort

Earn an extra life
For every 25.000 points you earn an extra life. You can see your score at the end of each level.

Devil's colors

To unlock this secret achievement just enter 0666 or 6666 on the character's color screen.

Collector

Collect all power-ups in the game (including all hidden power-ups)
Play the entire game and collect everything. If you missed a power-up just quit and press continue to restart the level.

Golden Cyborg

Earn 500000 points
Complete the entire game on any difficulty setting about 2,5 times in a row to earn this achievement. Complete the game and then start a new game and you will notice that you starting the game again with the score you did on your previous playthrough. Keep doing this until you get 500000 points.

You have to do it in 1 session without closing the game.

Flesh and bones

To unlock this secret achievement make sure you've already completed the game at least once in order to unlock a human character. Then start a new game and select the human instead of cyborg.

Freedom to crawlers

To unlock this secret achievement go to the level 2 and there you will find 3 big green crawlers that are inside a glass. Just shoot the glass but do not kill them. Jump over them.

Band of followers

Gather 10 quadropods on the screen on level 6
On the level 6 you will find the quadropods. Do not shoot them, just let them follow until you have 10 of them on your screen.

Heavy lifting

To unlock this secret achievement go to the level 7 and on the pink area (elevator) there will be 3 enemies that stick to the elevator under you. Do not shoot them. Right before the final boss they will fall down.

Squashed

To unlock this secret achievement go to the level 7 and after you beat the final boss a mini boss will spawn and the elevator will go up to the sky. Go stand on the left or right edge and after few seconds the edges will break and you will "squashed".

Sharpshooter

Kill 10 enemies with one shot
On the boss of level 5 wait until he spawns 10 worms and then use a maximum charged alternate fire to kill them all.

Good listener

Listen all tracks in music test menu (Complete the game to unlock it)
To unlock this achievement make sure you've already completed the game at least once in order to unlock the music test. Then go to Options > Music Vol > Music Test and then play all tracks for about 5 min each to make sure they've fully played cause they're in loop.

As for the Golden-Cyborg-Achievement, you definitely do not have to do it in one session. When you finish the game, you have to start a new game and you will keep your score. Probably, then you have to beat Level 1 without Gaming-Over, so you have a new save game with all your points, but once you have the "new" save game, you can quit and restart any time.

If you want this one easily you just have to start a game with 2 players and after all lifes of player 2 are gone hit the fire button

@kokiri1232 if for example you properly enter the code for "Weapon Select" then you will instantly be able to select a weapon. All the info you need to know is already on the guide. Read it carefully and make sure you enter the codes on the correct screen. Good luck!
