Hold windows key + press R

in the run window type: %localappdata%\payday 2\crashlog.txt

Press enter and you will be presented with a notepad file, scroll to the bottom of the file to the most recent date to locate the log for your latest crash.

Take a moment and look puzzled by it, now close it and forget about it as you are now as informed as the official bug fixers, Almost a pro.... not quite yet though.

1. Go to your start button and click Computer.

2. double click your drive which has Payday 2 installed, I will use C:\ for the example.

3. Navigate to: program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\payday 2\

4. Locate mods folder.

5. Select mods folder > hold Shift and press Delete.

6. Feel smug you are now so pro you are almost at hacker level of skills. ( not the type that has infinte HP and ammo and can open all of the deposit boxes in the bank vault before the drill has even finished, and spawns 3000 "the diamonds" into the escape van ) real hacking like Neo in that Matrix movie..... Actually, forget that part... just move on to the next section.

The tricky part.

This is where it gets tricky guys, but don't be afraid

1. go to steam.

2. Right click payday 2 in your games library.

3. Select properties.

4. Click local files.

5. Click Verify integrity of game cache.

6. Provided you did not click delete local content by mistake you are still here, now just wait until your game cache has verified.

7. If this does not solve the problem remove the cartridge and blow in it then replace it.

Uhh, fun fact, dont do this if you use weapon mods, this will probably end up softbanning you, causing the game to crash on the loading screen, sell your shit before you do this.
