Description
Does pretty much what it says on the tin.
Removes several graphical effects from the battlefield. Glowing lights over a lord charging in with a charge ability turned on or the lady's blessing effect on soldiers near their lord and so on are mostly gone.
Spells are untouched though since their effects are rather important and you want to see that your mage has actually cast something.

This leaves you with less information, since you can't at a glance see that your or an enemy rune priest is boosting your troops, instead it's down to tooltip descriptions in unit windows and the like.

On the other hand it leaves you with less "clutter" in terms of effects on the battlefield. I haven't extensively tested the mod, but my guess is that the removal of some of these effects will also have a positive impact on your FPS, if that's an issue for you.

Not sure. Figured I'd make one when mortal empires comes out, but I bet someone has gone before me. :p

Hey mate, was just playing warhammer 2 and was reminded how great this mod is! the constant effects spam on the infantry is ridiculous lol

Yep, ought to be. But no, it doesn't remove the weapon effect. I think other mods touch on it though, it's another file being modified. :-)

Is this still up to date? Also, does it remove the annoying "weapon glow" effects? I hate that some units (Knights o.t. Blazing Sun) are running around with lightsabers. Completely out of place imo.
