Logitech G25/G27 not working after 26/05/16? Fix here.

Windows 10 automatically downloaded an update which, in short, installs the wrong version of Logitech Profiler and causes the G25 and G27 to be recognised as a Driving Force GT.

Windows fix;

• Control Panel > Programs and Features
• Find Logitech Profiler or Logitech Gaming Software (If you need to, sort from Installed On at the top to show most recent)
• Uninstall both
• Reinstall Logitech Gaming Software 5.10.

The last version that apparently works correctly can be found Here.[download01.logitech.com] (From Logitech website)

To prevent this from happening in the future:

• Control Panel > Devices and Printers
• Find your computer's icon
• Right click and select "Device Installation Settings
• Select "No" to prevent Windows from automatically downloading newer versions of software.


The issue is caused by Windows downloading an update to upgrade Logitech Gaming Software/Logitech Profiler from version 8.82.151 to v 8.83.85

Before using download, you will have to uninstall Logitech software/hardware, then reinstall 510 drivers. Then read the text & run the program in the zip download.

After removing Logitech drivers, Windows will think you need it again, so it will put it in "Q" for your system to download and install. The key here is to hide the download before it is installed again. Microsoft update will never install any update if it is hidden by the program located in .zip file. Read Readme in download. I have direct conversation with MS Support on how to run this Show/Hide Program they supplied.

for me works unplug wheel uninstal driver in devices and printers, remove device, plug back in, run profiler, play
