With regards to Asseto Corsa, it's been out for a long time now. Good and stable, it just has the worst menu system ever. I hate having to use a mouse in menu's. Other than that, it's great.
I think you might be thinking of Automobilista (previously know as Stock Car Extreme) which is still in beta I think.
Happy racing.
Asseto Corsa is on my radar, but I'm waiting until it's in a more stable state (Last I saw it was in Alpha or Beta, or something like that)
The other settings that I don't know of, I'll have a change around and see what happpens, do as you said, just test my little heart out.
Again, much thanks!
The amount of force feedback settings are a bit overwhelming in this game. I personally think that Asseto Corsa / iRacing default force feedback settings are significantly better, and they have way less options. But that's part of the fun of owning a wheel is tweeking settings.
I've found the easiest way to determine what the effects of changing a setting are is to change settings to the extremes i.e) 0 or 100. See what happens. If you don't notice a difference just leave it where it is :) The other option is to google, but eventually you're going to have to test yourself. A lot of this stuff is subjective.
In the Logitech program itself, I can change the center spring options, but I cannon change the first 3 options which you show in your screenshot.
For the most part, using the settings that I could change, it works near enough flawlessly, I personally have Steering gain: 105 and Tire Force 90, but that's down to my taste.
I don't know what the "Overall Strength" "Spring effect Strength" and "Damper Effect Strength" actually change. I haven't notice alot of difference with the handling so far compared to my previous wheel, then again, I have no idea how those 3 options being changed would effect me at all.
(Also, I found that my pedals (each of them) and my steering sensitivity is on 50% by default in the program itself, is it worth having these to 100%?)
