The one tile high gap isn't very good for most things, except one: boxing glove combos.
Placing 2 moving platforms in the second area with the box room above it make it incredibly difficult to enter said box room safely. Fill it with coins to encourage risky plays.
One way doors can make the pyramid hell.
A ferris wheel in the center, an upward facing one way door and a floor below it spells death to any who misstep.
Crumbling bridge, it's biggest danger is the ever changing field of the map.
Volcano, A decently hard platforming map. Two platforms move up and down from lava spouts, but you can't make it to the exit without atleast one platform to jump up to it.
The Mainframe, An interesting level that changes every run, with new unbombable turf, that replaces old turf every round, an ever changing level, as opposed to the permanent changes of Crumbling Bridge.
The Nuclear Plant, A map where you start on an elevator, you can definitely rig the shaft with traps, but it's similar to windmill in a way, with it's own twists. --You can jump up the shaft with some swift, non-sprinting wall jumps in rapid succession, but if there's a trap in the way, It's best not to.
If you're at wall-jumping height, as soon as the cave's ceiling is gone, wall-jump on the side of the cave to jump directly to the upper area of the level. Alot of people use it, and it isn't that rare, but it's still a neat little trick.
Also, if you're looking for a trap-placing trick: Try using a moving platform going vertically (I usually suggest the smaller, 2-by-1 platform because it has the most distance) and attach a trap to it. Make sure the moving platform is going through both areas, top and bottom. Presto! Now the trap moves between both areas of the map, making it much more effective.
