100% In-Depth Wick: No Way Out Achievement Guide w/ Maps

This is an in-depth guide to the new Wick: No Way Out DLC. In it I have details, maps, screenshots, and videos on how to obtain every new achievement. Some sections won't have screenshots/video because the game is fantastic, and some parts are better when you experience it yourself. This will not hinder your ability to get 100%, nor will it be any harder to do so without me spoiling them.

Accessing The DLC

In order to access the DLC you'll need to find three new pieces of evidence. Once you've obtained said evidence you can exit to the menu and still have credit for finding it. I've linked a video I made below showing where to find them. If you don't want to watch, can't, or can't stand to watch; I've also put the locations and screenshots below the video.

Midnight: Headcam on the couch. When you spawn, go right and follow the path. The couch will be on the left.



1AM: Journal leaning against Caleb's grave.



2AM: Smartphone on the ground by the gate next to the Bus.


Once you've found all three there will be something new on the main menu, Play: Last Year. Just click that and it'll give you a warning telling you that the level is very challenging as well as shifting the menu over to the new level. Accept and you're good to go.

New Mechanics

With the DLC comes a few new mechanics that I'd like to go over real fast:


To enter the old map and start the night, you'll need to find the key to the gate in the Counselor's Cabin. It can appear in two places that I've seen. In the cabinet, or on the desk.



Once you have the key head to the gate and unlock it.


From there head to the graves. A cutscene will play and you'll be ready to play.

The way to beat Last Year is to place all five of the children's objects and escape the camp. These items are randomized with three each, except for Caleb who has two.

You can only have one object at a time. The other objects will be transparent until you place the one you currently have.



When you pick up an object, you activate the corresponding child. Who has a new look, some have slightly new mechanics/patterns. Here is what activates who:

• Tim: Gas Mask, Knife, Mask.
  
  
• Tom: Cracked Mask, Leg Brace, Rattle.
  
  
• Lillian: Bucket, Rabbit Skull, Stuffed Rabbit.
  
  
• Benny: Bible, Cross, Lantern.
  
  
• Caleb: Trophy, Shoe.

Note: I've never gotten the Shovel to spawn. I saw a picture of it in-game, but I think it's just in the map since it is originally found at the graves and broken.

Some of the kids have some new mechanics. Such as Benny snoring like usual, but not actually asleep. Benny will now wander around an area, so if you hear his snore/growls be extra careful as he might be walking close-by and get near enough that he'll trigger. He's pretty big so you can usually see him if he's within your line of sight. Caleb is also a tad different in that he no longer digs underground, but instead chases you like the others. However he will now give up the chase, at least from my experience he does. Lillian can now "play" with you and initiate a game of Hide 'n' Seek. Should you fail to enter the Bus or Wood Shed before she finishes counting, you will be killed instantly.

The bird will make noise and caw to lead you to where you need to place the current object you have. Below you can see the bird above the trophy location, as well as the trophy on me as shown in the bottom right.



Candles are extremely scarce on this level, however everytime you place an object you will be rewarded with a fresh candle back at the graves. You can find your way back easily by following the green light that will flash every so often, much like the sparkle you see from spare candles. You can see an example below. You have the same amount of matches as previous levels.

Base Map(Spoiler Free)

Base map with the camp area added alongside a previous version of the original map. You'll find this exploring the new camp area before starting Last Year off.

Event Map

This map simply shows the few locations of the randomized events. Two are for an achievement those being: Hangin' Out With Dad and Mommy Dearest. One however isn't required for an achievement, but does give you evidence and might be linked to the 100% achievement: Wicked. Seeing as it is not required for an achievement I put the screenshot of what the fire lighting looks like below:

Item Placement Map + Location Screenshots

This map shows the locations that you'll need to drop the items off at. It's exactly where you found them in the base game. Below are screenshots and where to place the objects.

Tim:


Gas Mask is placed next to the water tower on the ground. It's on the side closest to the graveyard.


Knife is placed next to the Campfire.


Mask is placed on top of the hearth/fire place in the Private Home.

Tom:


Cracked Mask is placed on a tree next to the Wood Shed.


Leg Brace is placed under the Bridge, on the far end if you're coming from the Private Home.


Rattle is on the first seat on the bus just past the door. Not the back emergency door.

Lillian:


Bucket is located on the Bridge at the front coming from the Private Home.


Rabbit Skull is located on "The Rock Of Nope". It is a large rock to the left of the Bridge.


Stuffed Rabbit is located on the back of the well.

Benny:


Bible is located on the stone wall in front of the fire place at the Private Home.


Cross is located opposite of the gas mask, propped up against the far corner of the Water Tower.


Lantern is located inside the Wood Shed on the stove.

Caleb:


Shoe is located on the end of the Bridge coming from the Private Home opposite the Bucket.


Trophy is located under the Camp sign by the gate you enter through and the bus.

...And I Can Not Lie

You'll unlock the secret game after completing the Hidden in the Darkness achievement. This will unlock a special Easter Egg game that you can go back to any time through the Credits menu. Just click the picture of Wickbutt. To get the achievement just beat the secret game. I don't think you can actually die without looking directly at what's chasing you, it's a really fun and simple game to play. The DLC is made even more amazing with this game.

Hangin' Out With Dad

First off I just wanna say how morbidly awesome this achievement is. This whole DLC is super cheeky and I love it. Anyway, to get this you do pretty much the same as Claustrophobia. It is a randomly triggered event that sets off when you try to step foot in the Wood Shed. It's a pretty common one too. I managed to get it almost every run that I went to the Wood Shed in. Just keep trying for it and eventually he'll show up and you'll get the achievement.

Hidden in the Darkness

This is one of two of the DLC achievements done outside of the DLC level, the other being Last Year... To do this you'll have to find nine buttons hidden throughout the level. I recommend doing this on Midnight as that is the easiest and least aggressive level. Some of these are actual square buttons, others are actual objects. I've provided a map, as well as a video by AaronSayWhat showing where every button is. You know you've got a button when you reach out and an object indents, or you see a button, and hear a click. You will not drop your candle if you're hitting a switch, don't worry.

Note: The map marker colors are coordinated with the screenshots below, past the video.



After you hit all nine you'll automatically get pulled into the secret game and have access to it at anytime through the Credits menu. Just click the picture of Wickbutt.

I cannot post a link that sends you directly to the point in the video where he completes the achievement and shows every button's location as well as them being pressed. 4AM Spawn Rock: Small jutting piece.



Bridge: Hidden on the bottom part of the concrete on the left at the end of the bridge away from the Private Home.



Bus: Tire opposite of the door.



Campfire: Odd jutting piece on top of log opposite of the fire. It'll be pointing on up the log, almost looks like a button.



Fireplace: Middle stone in the middle of the cluster of stones. If you're collecting the mask, left side of it, can't miss it.



Graves: Bottom of Tim's Grave(1st grave on the left/closest to the shed).



Twin Rocks: Jutting rock on I believe the left rock. Can't miss it, same as the previous rock.



Water Tower: Back left button on the base concrete.



Wood Shed: 2nd barrel closest to the door.

Note: I'm not sure you have to get all nine in one night. Watching AaronSayWhat's live stream showed him only having to find a few after a reset. When I died I lost my progress so maybe it has something to do with that. I'd still recommend knocking it out on a single night. After you do so the back of the fireplace will have the nine lights up permanently. As you're doing the achievement those lights will pop up to show your progress as well if you're curious.

Hide 'n' Seek

Credit to Comfortably_Numb for figuring out how to make this trigger more often as well as her warning message. It seems that she is more likely to play with you while in the dark after you've placed her item. Do not use a candle, or a match at all. Just stay close to the Bus/Wood Shed so you can run inside.

You'll hear her say something along the lines of, "You're going to cry with me." If you hear this IMMEDIATELY RUN TO THE BUS OR WOOD SHED! She will begin to rapidly count down from 10. If you are not inside one of these locations she will kill you instantly no matter where you are. I've posted a screenshot of me in the Wood Shed. I was hoping to get the achievement in the pic. Unfortunately I didn't but it shows that I survived her game at the very least. I don't think the candle will get you killed if you have it, but I dropped it anyway just to be sure.

Laid To Rest...

Self-explanatory like a few are. Place all five of the children's objects. After you do so, head to the gate where you entered. The children despawn after the fifth object is placed. This is not the end of the DLC.

Last Year...

To get this simply collect the Headcam from the couch on the Midnight level, the Notebook leaning a grave on 1AM, and finallly the Smartphone by the locked gate near the Bus on 2AM. I included a video on where these items are found in the first section of the guide. However, here's the video again just in case.

Mommy Dearest

I've provided a picture above of what the event will look like. Next to the Private Home on the road leading to the Bridge you can sometimes find Mary Weaver floating in the air and crying. Simply walk up to her and activate the jump scare. The achievement should pop. This is a random event and requires no trigger. It'll simply happen on it's own. Just keep an eye out.

Nevermore

This one is a bit tricky as well. You can get five guaranteed shoos by placing items and laying the kids to rest. Once all five items are placed you're safe, for a bit and I'll explain that in the No Way Out section. To do this, do not skip the intro scene. Let it play out then explore the camp. You should hear the bird making noise. Find it as many times as you can before it dips and you can't hear it anymore. I managed to get it three times prior to having to place items for more. You'll need at least two in the camp area in order to get the achievement.

Once you've shoo'd it twice, or three times, more if possible, start the game. When you place the items be sure to spook the bird as you place them. Granted I think it's guaranteed I like to kinda get close to make sure he flies away. After seven you should get the achievement.

Note: Placing five items won't give you an advantage. Once you've placed five that's it, I don't think he shows up again until you get to the gate to finish the final section and complete Last Year. That leaves you with six and one off so be sure to spook him a few times in the camp first.

No Way Out

Self explanatory, just complete the Last Year DLC. I imagine some people have already done this, but just in case I've hidden the next section in case anyone doesn't want to be spoiled.

After placing all five items you'll need to get to the gate you came in from by the bus. When you exit the gate a cutscene will play. Benny will appear behind you, shut the gate, and roar. You'll be given control shortly after so start running. All of the children will come after you and pop up as you run so be careful. Get back to the Counselor's Cabin and run inside. You'll get this as soon as you enter the building and you finish the game.

Sunday Worship

This one is admittedly tricky. First thing you need to do is summon both of the twins. Personally I placed Tim's item before placing Tom's. Every other way I did it didn't seem to work. Tim's grave is the first on the left, Tom's grave is the second one, next to Tim's. After placing both of their items, put down your candle. Now keep lighting your matches, and avoiding the twins until you get the teleporting animation Lillian usually does to you when shifting your position.

We don't have a concrete idea as to how to do this, but we do know that both twins must be active. Those who were teleported to the church had a match out prior to the event occuring. I was down to my last match before it finally procced. I tried everything, walking around for hours, and this technique worked first try. Give it a bit, try this out, and be patient. It can be a bit of a pain trying to get it to work.

This One Time, at Wick Camp...

This one is very easy to do, and I've provided a map. To be sure the achievement works wait for Tbubbers to say his dialogue to be sure the game has tracked you finding the location. Once you've visited every area the achievement should pop.

Wicked

Another self-explanatory achievement. Basically collect all the evidence, and achievements, and you'll get this. I had to exit the game before mine went off so if it shows you don't have it, just exit/restart your game and it should have proper credit shown.

No Way Out Poster: Obtained after completing Last Year DLC.



Perfume Bottle: Obtained after the Mommy Dearest event.



Rosary: Obtained after Sunday Worship event.



Smartphone: Found by the locked gate near the bus, required to access DLC.

Secret Game Playthrough(SPOILERS!)

I can confirm that there are three possible raven scares in the initial campsite, meaning you only need 4 items placed to get the achievement
