Elemental Stones and Where to Find Them

The elemental stones needed for side and rank-up quests and how to get them.

Notes

Locations with (treasure) next to them means they're found from the hidden treasures in the dungeon, you can find those with the Item Sonar skill from Weapon Boost or a Fairy effect.

The Surpass Your Limits DLC adds three dungeons with tier 2+ stones in their hidden treasures, it can save you a lot of trouble if you don't mind buying it.

In Shukesoo's Tower, Floor 15 of the alternate route rewards you with all 3 stones needed for The Collector (2), and Floor 19 rewards you with 3 Inferno Stones and 3 Absolute Zero stones. Though it's unlikely you'll be the recommended levels 700 and 725, respectively, without already having them, I still thought it was worth noting.

Tier 1 Stones

• Earth - Subterranean Tower (treasure), Stairway to Heaven (treasure), stolen and dropped by Golems in Cavare Desert [revisited].
  
• Fire - Yatagan Lava Flows (treasure), Cavare Desert (treasure), Rudokhe Blast Furnace (treasure), stolen from Phoenix in Rudokhe.
  
• Ice - Katticus Ice Cave (treasure), Lusamundo Ice Cave (treasure), stolen from Ice Hawks in Lusamundo.
  
• Lightning - Zawaza Plains (treasure).
  
• Water - Bui Valley [revisited] (treasure), stolen from Venti in Katticus Ice Cave [revisted].
  
• Wind - Bui Valley (treasure), Zawaza Plains (treasure), Zeppelia Valley (treasure), stolen from Slash Sharks in Zeppelia Valley.

Tier 2 Stones

• Blaze - Synthesized from 5 Fire Stones, Yatagan Lava Flows [revisited] (treasure), Rudokhe Blast Furnace (treasure).
  
• Cloudburst - Synthesized from 5 Lightning Stones.
  
• Gale - Synthesized from 5 Wind Stones, Bui Valley [revisited] (treasure), Zeppelia Valley (treasure).
  
• Glacial - Synthesized from 5 Ice Stones, Lusamundo Ice Cave (treasure), Katticus Ice Cave [revisited] (treasure).
  
• Maelstrom - Synthesized from 5 Water Stones.
  
• Rumble - Synthesized from 5 Earth Stones.

Tier 3 Stones

• Absolute Zero - Synthesized from 3 Glacial Stones.
  
• Blizzard - Synthesized from 1 Gale Stone and 1 Glacial Stone.
  
• Hurricane - Synthesized from 3 Gale Stones.
  
• Inferno - Synthesized from 3 Blaze Stones.
  
• Mudslide - Synthesized from 1 Water Stone and 1 Rumble Stone.
  
• Quake - Synthesized from 3 Rumble Stones.
  
• Wildfire - Synthesized from 1 Blaze Stone and 1 Lightning Stone.

Tier 4 Stones

• Firestorm - Synthesized from 3 Inferno Stones and 1 Hurricane Stone.
  
• Slush - Synthesized from 3 Absolute Zero Stones and 1 Maelstrom Stone.

For anyone wondering, I believe a recipe will only show up if you have at least one of the materials for it when entering the synthesis menu
If you're missing a recipe but you know you have the materials for it, leaving the synthesis menu and entering it again should make the recipe appear
