Go on your computer. Make sure you have Steam running. Press the Windows Key + R at the same time. In the blank space, type steam://install/427920 . Then accept the download. Now you have FNaF World on Steam!

I made this guide 4 years ago, and somehow it has only become more popular. I have been getting a lot of comments with questions and some concerns, so I will address them here.

Will this give me a virus? This should NOT be giving you a virus. If you get one anytime after this, I assume you have done something else completely unrelated that gave you one.

Is this even legal? This method is completely legal, and wouldn't even work if the developer had not enabled it.

Would this work with other games? It depends on if the developer has allowed it or not. The developer of this game allowed this method, which is why you're able to do this.

Can't you just get this on Game Jolt? Yes, you can.[gamejolt.com] It is also completely free and official, and as far as I know more up-to-date. This is for people who wish to have the game in their Steam library.

I hope this clears up some of the questions that you might have, and if there are any more in the future I will add them to this section.

July 3rd, 2024 this method does not work anymore as the free copy of the game on Steam was changed from hidden to unavailable.

My best guess is that Steam has dissallowed this sort of method by default to remove any chance of exploiting it such as how The Spiffing Brit broke steam and getting unlisted or removed games. They watch him like a hawk so its no surprise it was fixed so soon
