Cats Paw Locations
There are at least 100 Cats paws. (collectable)
This is known because of the collect 100 Cats Paws achievement.

If you get into an area with Cats Paws and an item, grab the Cats Paw first as areas can become unacessable.

They can be found as either a coins or a shadow. They can be in HOGs too.
There are a number of glass safes that you can find the combo to (3 coins)
2 in a pile of dust, 2 in a cracked barrel, and 2 in a broken wall.

You can use them to buy upgrades as Items for Boris the Cat to wear.
You only need to spend 22 Cats Paws for a full upgrade as Boris can only wear 4 things.
All of the items give the shorting to recharge the hint, the only difference is cosmetic.

Beatrice's Diary Pages

Boris can only wear 4 items
a Hat, an Earring, Glasses & Neckwear

Academy Hat - 5 coins
Triple Earring - 3 coins (or Sophisticated)
Hood - 8 coins
Yellow Glasses - 6 coins (or Reg Glasses)

= 22 coins Total

Each item speeds up the hint's recharging by 25%.
All the other items do the same 25% increase. you are only paying for cosmetics

I deleted a profile and started a new one with the same name, and had the items i bought in my test run. All of the cats paws were there like a new game.

So it might be possible to farm early game coins.

Opening the Tower
Grab the medallion from the tree branch on the left.
Brush the twigs from the grave on the right.
Use the medallion on the grave.

Go forward 1 screen and get a torch from the door.
Go back and light the torch with the burning grave.
Now put the burning torch on the on the tower gate holders for [HIDDEN MATERIAL].

Tower Steps
Put the bottom half of the painting back on.
Click the flaming stand to the left of the stairs. Grab the [CATS PAW] and the frog piece.
Click the fountain for a from piece and a [CATS PAW].
Click the hippo thing against the right wall and use the 2 frog pieces to play a mini game.
When its open get the [CATS PAW] on the hippo console's right cheek.
After the HOG pick up the dropped drawing and use the corkscrew on the foundation for [FIREMAN].

Tower 1st Floor
Look to the right for an owl carving in a curved pillar and grab a CATS PAW.
Grab the hammer next to the angel and use it break the crowbar from her grasp.
Look on the angels forehead for a [CATS PAW] and the number 725 for the code to the glass safe full of CATS PAWs.
Look next to where the sun figurine fell for a piece of it and another CATS PAW.
Go forward and to the left for a vault
Grab the [CATS PAW] and smash open the lock with the crowbar. Grab another piece of the sun figurine.
Take the dagger you get from this puzzle and use it on the angel's crown. Now go fix the sun figurine for [Gold Smith].
Click on the owl that appears. This opens a door. (I think there is a [CATS PAW] on this door you can miss.)

Secret room
Grab the [CATS PAW] on the table. There's another paw in the top left compartment.
Give Boris the rope.
[02] - The Phantom Zone?

The Main Goal is to make it through the 5 islands to the next area.

The witch queen gets pissed you beat her and she sends that section into an alternate dimension.
You are on a chain of floating island areas. The goal is to get to the other side.

1st Island
Get the rag and the [CATS PAW] from the chair.
Enter the tree HOG and grab the [CATS PAW] to the right (in the background).
Get the key and the paw from the harp. Pick up the book. Use they key on the panda's muzzle.
Put the muzzle on the door.

2nd and 3rd Island
Go through the door, get the glass cutter off the table and the [CATS PAW] under the table.
Then come back.
Use the spraybottle/rag on the grandfather clock window.
Then cut it open with the glass cutter.
Go back though the dog door and use the amulet on the fallen statue for a key and another [CATS PAW].

4th Island
Get the [CATS PAW] from the lion's mouth on the door.
Grab the rope and go to the mini island to the right.
Get the [CATS PAW] in the middle of this HOG.

Get the Moon Puzzle piece from behind the doors ear. Do the moon puzzle to open the lid.

Use the rope and get the [CATS PAW] and ruby (get paw first as it dissapears).
Go though the door for [IRRISPONIBLE].

At this point you should have enough to buy a set of hint boosts for Boris.
Note the more expensive stuff is purely cosmetic.
All of the items do the same 20% reduction in hint recharge time.
Boris can wear 4 things: ear, head, glasses, neck. = 22 [CATS PAW]s

5th Island (Library Area)
Get the [CATS PAW], note, and axe handle from the chest in the middle (top compartment).
You should have 3 books from the other levels. Put them in the book case.
Get the slingshot from the chest to the left.
Go back one screen to the lion room and get the rest of the axe.
Now go back to the bookcase room and use the axe on the the boards of the middle trunk.
Get the [CATS PAW] from the HOG .
Go back one screen to the room with the piano and shoot down the book in a bubble for [BULLY].
Replace all the books and complete the puzzle for [ARCHIVIST].

6th Island (Area with floating steps)
Before leaving, note the safe code on the ground [382].
Go back 1 screen and open the glass safe on top of the bookcase.

Put the shovel in the shovel handle dig out the item in the dirt and get the [CATS PAW].
Saw the boards.

By the the bottom of the right scaffolding, get the pickaxe and use it on the stones.
Do a HOG in the storeroom and get the [CATS PAW] on the left wall.
Use the cat ball on the ghost dog for [DOG HANDLER].

Elevator
Get the [CATS PAW] from the radio and grab the lantern.
Go back one screen light the lantern with fire and get the [CATS PAW] and handle.
(oops I grabbed the handle first and missed).
[03] - Sibling Rivalry

This area seems to be setup like a 1 bedroom apartment.

Portal
Ha bet you thought that was the end of the game already? Nope.
Note that the desk has pices it needs on the side.
Look at the coo coo clock on the right. Get the skull key and read the note.
It looks like there is a[CATS PAW] coin on the right that is trapped. (a button?)
Go in the door to the right.

Beatrice's Bedroom
Take the sleeping mask from the bed. Put on the face of the dresser.
Get a[CATS PAW] from its mouth open the dresser and move the hat to the left to get a metal spider.
There is a key and duckling in a bowl and a key in the chandelier.
Go back 1 screen and put the spider in the coo coo clock for a HOG.
Get the 2[CATS PAW] in the HOG (1 on the wall on the left and the other on a pipe) you get a metal fly for [LORD OF TIME].
When you finish the coo coo clock HOG, time will be unfrozen and a vase will fall.
Get a [CATS PAW] on the ground where the vase will fall in the past. You get [BACK TO THE FUTURE].
Give the fly to the bat in the background to start a HOG.
Get the [CATS PAW] in the top right corner.
And another [CATS PAW] on the hankerchelf on the middle left.

Click the amroir for a ghost to fly out and get the paper.
(he stole one of the keys per Boris)
Note that the glass safe has been raided in the future already.
Note the 3 symbols on the desk in the future.
Triangle, star, circle. Go in the past and use the safe.
While in the past get the paw from the bear skin rug's mouth.
Go into bedroom in the past as well.

Bedroom in the Past
Get the lions head from the chest at the foot of the bead.
The bed has a pillow and [CATS PAW].

The table leg has a [CATS PAW] on it.
(you need a rope to tie the chanlier to the table per Boris)

The aquarium has a [CATS PAW]. (use the spider to grab the duck)

Put the pillow were the vase will fall. Travel to the future.
Put the 2 lions heads in the desk for a paw, a note and another skull key.

Get the vase and fill it with water fo find a paw.
Full the aquarium with water.

In between the loads the ghost was on the bed. He had a sack, a paper and a message on the pillow.
When I clicked on him it all disappeared and I got nothing.
Borris says he stole a key but I didnt get a key from him

Go back in the past for another load of water to get the ducky/bathroom key.
Unlock the other door(its the bathroom) in the bedroom in the future with the ducky key.

Bathroom
Its a HOG.
Get the paw in the middle of the back wall. Theres another paw behind the slippers.
This HOG gives you a rope. Go back in the past and tie the rope to the table. (note the table becomes the chandelier in the future)

Get the final skull key and a paw from the chandelier.
Go back 1 screen and unlock the skull gate.
[04] - Sculptor's Workshop

Your overall goal is to find the missing parts for the 2 Atlas statues before the mad sculptor frees himself from his concrete prison. (don't worry, its not actually timed)

Display Hall
Grab the paw on the steps. Go where the cat is.
Get the paw on one of the exit statues. Get the Atlas head and put on the right statue.
Go back 1 screen. Get another head and arm.
The statue on the left has another arm but wants something in exchange.
Get the bag of plaster to the left and the paw on the top right.
Do the HOG in the back left.
Get the [CATS PAW] on the middle drawer and the [CATS PAW] coin on the left.
Take the eyes and go to the room at the right.
Note that the guy with an outstreched arm (on the celing on the right) needs something to hold.

Workshop
Get the matches on the table to the left. The phonograph needs a record and the dog has an arm.
The wall on the right has a [CATS PAW].
Under the dog click the cracked barrel several times to reveal hidden coins and [TREASURE HUNTER]
Inspect the door for a mini game and then a HOG for a leg.
While in the HOG, get a paw from the statue, and from the wall higher up. Both on the left.
Go to the left for for another HOG.
Get a paw in the middle table.
You get a mould for this HOG.

Get the firewood beneath the dancer.
Inspect the fireplace in the middle of the room and get a [CATS PAW].
Put the firewood(underneath) and light the fire
Put the mould on the top [BETTER THAN MICHALEANGELO]
Put the eyes in the dog and the maids head on the maid in the back right.
Take the [CATS PAW] and the feather duster.
(get the duster again) Give the duster to the maid to reval the record.
Put the record on the phonograph. Get the two hands that fall out of the other statue.
Go to the bald statue in the main area and trade ladies arm for Atlas' arm.

Now go back to the main area and go to the exit with the big statues.
Use the duster on the pile of dust to get 2 [CATS PAW]s. Fix the statues for [GALATEA]
[05] - The Greenhouse

Your Main goal is to fix the elevator. To do that you need to heal the tree for firewood.
(Game logic IDK, don't ask)

Hallway
Click the spilled honey twice(on the ground in front of you) and then pick up the vase.
Put the vase on the hook and turn the handle. (both on the right wall)
The elevator needs firewood and has [CATS PAW] on wall behind it.
Go forward and grab the giant [CATS PAW] on the top right wall.
Get the paper in front of the fountian and go though the door behind the tree for a HOG.
Get the [CATS PAW] from the corpses eye socket (ew).
Use the valve you get to turn on the fountian. The tree is about to give you the firewood but some bad guys show up.
You need exlixer. Do a HOG on the fountian. Take the hammer you get and use it on the skull and hands door 1 screen back.

Lab
Get the cats foot in the middle of the floor and the paper too.
Do a HOG for the cabinet on the right.
Get the [CATS PAW] in the right side cabinet . Put the flower in the machine head in the middle.
Get a purple feather from the left thats on a ladder and put it in the machine also.
The purple bird also needs a fly.
Go back to the main hall and click on the pile of skeleons on the ground to the right for a HOG.
Get the [CATS PAW] in the middle. You get a knofe from this HOG.
Put the exlier on the puffer fish thing back in the greenhouse, and stab it with the knife for [GREENPEACE PROTESTS]
Finally! the firewood. Get the [CATS PAW] on the wall behind the elevator. Give the wood to the elevator.
[06] - The Hospital

Your overall goal is to take down the floating hands
(so do they think for themselves?)
This doctor has 5 hands, something doesn't add up

Get the paw on the ground in the middle and on the giant leg on the right. Pick up the paper.
Clicking on the bear on the left sows the bear up and the hand undos it again.
(man this place is creepy)
On the right under an exit sign is an arm sewing something and it uses adrenaline that we can poison.
On the right side of this door is an arm drilling something.
You cant go in the go in the door to the right because its lunch time.
Go forward for a HOG. Use the can opener 3 times for an eyeball and a [CATS PAW].
Use the apple from this HOG on the door.

Ward
Get the paper on the floor.
Get the drawer handle from the nighstand next to the bed and use it to fix the night stand.
Get all the junk you can inside the drawer and on top.
take note of the ugly doll thing and that it can break mirrors.
Inspect the clipboard on the bed for another [CATS PAW].
Cut the belt of the suitcase on the left for [HANDS UP].
Get the hankerchief and matches from the top of the suitcase.

Go in the door in the back for a HOG.
Get the [CATS PAW] from the xray.
Give the gown you got for this to the ghost of a nurse.
Go forward for another HOG.

Get the [CATS PAW] from the green glowing thing and next to the safe.
Put the hose, valve handle and match on the pan thing so boris can boil the hand.
Use the code from the flashing tv on the safe [825].
Do a mini game on the cabinet then a HOG inside.
Get the [CATS PAW] on the little black thing near the bottom.
Use the hammer on the stone figurine on the night stand then put the head in the vise in the main area.
Get the drill the hand was using. It needs a drill bit.

Put the poison in the adrenane dispenseor. Pick up the dead hand and the paper on the floor.
Now for the operating table hand.
The big light will begin to fall. Take the dead hand back to lily to play a mini game.
Combine the hand with the saw. Cut the operating light for [NEITHER FRIEND NOR ENEMY]

get the drill bit and fix the drill. Go back to lilly's room and go 1 screen forward.
Use the drill on the Chloroform pipe then dip the hankerchief in the chloriporm.
Combine the living hand with the hankerchief.
Give it to the doctor for [MEDICINE FOR THE DOCTOR].
[07] - Art Gallery

The Main goal here is to fix the paintings.

Main Area
Grab the [CATS PAW] from the panting on the left and the paper on the ground.
Open the door on the left.

Studio
Grab the paper from the ground. Do a HOG to the right of the talking painting for a sun.
The door needs a butterfly to unock the painting covering the door.
Use the eraser on the easel. Now you are back in the main area.

Paintings and what they need:
Each painting also has a newspaper clipping for a clue, and a [CATS PAW].
Each time you 'fix' a painting you get a jar of paint.

Roy Bekkins is crazy
Put the sun item you got from the studio HOG in the painting to fix it and for a jar of paint.

Old Timy Prison Pic
Boris will give you a key to his ball and chain. Freeing the guy will get you a record.
Get the [CATS PAW]. Take the ball and the record.
He has a HOG on the background table for the butterfly key.
Use the butterfly key in the door of the studio for a jar of paint and a paper.

Jim Bluckler is frozen in ice
Has a [CATS PAW] and needs to turn on the heat.
Use the kettle ball to break the ice, and use the lever.
Play the minigame for [THIMBLE RIGGER] you get fruit to give to Barbra Rose.

Barbra Rose is Hungry
Give barbra the fruit to get a jar of paint.

Wife in Red Dress:
Give her the record from the Old Timy Prison Pic for a jar of paint.
Do her HOG in the background for a locket.
Give the locket to the Old Timy Prison guy. For his jar of paint.

Now take all 5 jars of paint and put them in the easel. (non specific order)
Watch the cutscene and go upstairs.

This is basically a looping hallway that you need to break by giving each of the stone heads a lit torch.

Get the unlit torch, the pickaxe from the wall on the right. (need to zoom in)
Get the drum stick from the statue. Go forwards and get the flag.
Go forwards, get the rune from the hands and the eyes (near the bottom) and a [CATS PAW]. Theres another [CATS PAW] above the stone head.
Go forward again and click the purple glow for a hog that gives you a hooked pole.
Give this guy some eyes.

The cage is opened with a weighted pressure plate trigger on the ground.
Get the [CATS PAW] behind the plate get the shield from the wall.
Get the [CATS PAW], the wooden leg and the pick axe handle from the skeleton.
Use the pickaxe on the crubmbling wall for a lamp and stone and 2 [CATS PAW]s.
(smaller bit of stone below the hole) Put the rune in the stone faces mouth.
Get the [CATS PAW] from behind the big stone face's ear.

The head with a mask has a [CATS PAW] on the left.
Use the pick axe on the stone face with chains.
Use the gong with the drum stick on the holder next to the sleeping head.
Combine the lamp oil, the handkerchief, and the drumstick for the final, hidden torch for [SAURONS ENVY]
Now that you have lit all the trches theres new stuff at each head.
Make a full loop getting the scythe and staff of light.

Use the scythe to cut the rope.
Do the hog for magic dust. Use it on the black cloud on one of the areas on the left.
Boris drops the jar of fairies (-_-)
Make another loop finding 3 more fairies.
Put them in the jar and use them on the black cloud again.
Play a repeat of the bees and hornets minigame from the beginning to get the real staff of light. You get [INDIANA CROFT]
[09] - A Tragic Decision END
Theres really nothing to do here, just watch the cutscene and pick a choice.

Saying "I dont believe you" Destroys the tower.

I havent picked "Theres nothing I can do" but I assume its the bad ending.

I ended up with I think 94/100 Cats paws and I think 1 missing each from Beatrice Diary and Evidence.

Its hard to tell because its not tracked at all in the game unfortunately except for a notice everytime you pick up a cats paw.

I can not play this game without Flash. Adobe has stop flash, so how can this game be played? Help, Please and Thank You!!! I just purchased this in a bundle and did not know that I would not be able to play this until after the fact.
