Shrine and Statue Guide (Curses aswell) *OLD*

This guide is to help you identify shrines and statues, their uses, and their effects! Enjoy! (and curses too!)

Dice Roll Shrine

The Dice Roll Shrine grants you 2 Effects. One Good, and One Bad.

The good Effects are as follows:

• Restored HP
  
• +1 Heart Container
  
• Increased Movement Speed
  
• A pretty significant amount of Money
  
• One or Multiple Armor Pickups
  
• Resetting your Cursed Status to 0
  
• A Chest
  
• Full Ammo.
  
• One or Multiple Blanks

The Bad Effects are as follows:

• Take a Full heart of Damage
  
• -1 Heart Container
  
• Drops your Money to 0
  
• Removes a Weapon
  
• Halves your ammo capacity
  
• Removes one of your blanks
  
• Increases your Curse Stat
  
• Lowered Accuracy

Judgement Statue

The Judgement Statue forces you into a Multi stage room fight featuring every enemy you can find on the current floor. Finishing the room will give you a Chest!

Ammo Shrine

The Ammo Shrine works as advertised! It Refills ALL of your ammo in every weapon you have BUT increases your Curse Stat Aswell

Angel Statue

The Angel Statue Removes one Heart Container, but will Permanently increase you Damage! Be careful though! It increases your Curse Stat as well!

Peace Shrine

The Peace Shrine will Heal One Heart Container in exchange for the current weapon you are holding!

Y.V. Statue

The Y.V. Statue needs Money to activate. Upon finding the Statue, It costs 10 Casings to activate and grants you an ammo conserving ability where every time you fire your gun, there's a chance that the next 2 to 4 shots wont cost you any ammo! This ability can be Stacked by using the shrine again, but every use increases the cost by 10 Casings!

Fun Fact: This Statue is a reference to the game Gun Godz and Nuclear Throne or more specifically one of its characters, Yung Venuz, whos ability is Pop Pop, which allows him to fire twice with one bullet!

The Blank Statue

THANKS FOR THE IMAGE GUYS!
The Blank Statue's use is right there in its name! Using a Blank in the room that statue is in will spawn a Chest! You can spawn as many as you want, but dont spam all your blanks at once! wait for the chest drop animation to finish before using another blank or it wont spawn! The chances of a chest spawning are half'd every use, so I hope you feel lucky!

Cleansing Shrine

The Cleansing Shrine resets your Curse stat back to 0! Pretty Simple!

The Hero Shrine

I don't have an image for this Shrine but since its a statue you can only get in the late game, I'm sure the people who want to avoid spoilers like the plague will appreciate not plastering the image down here and ruining it for those avoiding it!

The Hero Shrine can only be activated AFTER killing that characters past.
The Shrine is located in the Starting Room of The Keep of the Lead Loard
Activating this Shrine will DRASTICALLY increase you Curse Stat!

Curse Stat Explained!

What does the Curse Stat do to you?
Heres what it effects!:

• Increases the amount of money enemies drop
  
• Increases the chance for Jammed Enemies to Spawn (Enemies that are red and black with TRIPLE the HP of there unjammed version and move and shoot faster aswell!)
  
• Jammed Bosses can appear aswell, which deal a Full Heart of Damage
  
• The ability to enter the Demon Face
  
• Lord of the Jammed will spawn if you gain too many Curses! He can't be killed and will hunt you down until he kills you!

Now, I bet you're wondering "What increases my Curse Stat? What do I need to avoid doing to keep it down?"
Here's EVERYTHING that increases your Curse Stat:

• Carrying these Active Items:
  • Blood Brooch
    
  • Elder Blank
    
  • Knife Shield
    
  • Sixth Chamber
• Carrying these Guns:
  • Excaliber
    
  • Fightsaber
    
  • Huntsman
    
  • Unicorn Horn
• Using these Shrines
  • Ammo Shrine
    
  • Angel Shrine
    
  • Hero Shrine
• When the familiar spawned by The Badge is killed
  
• Using the Spice Active item more then once
  
• Smashing a mirror OR opening the chest reflected in the miror
  
• Stealing from the Shop
  
• Buying an item from Cursula

Now what about decreasing it? How do we do that?
Here's EVERYTHING that decreases your Curse Stat:

• Dropping any Cursed Guns or Active Items
  
• Praying at the Cleansing Shrine
  
• Getting the Cleansing bonus from the Dice Roll Statue

dice statue can explode removing all of your heart containers except one and quadrupling your damage
and also glass shrine which give 3 glass stones

you know the hero statue also appears in the game even if you didnt defeat a past. you dont have to spoiler text this. Only the parts where you say what it does. " the Hero Shrine can only be activated after killing the character's past" -Wiki

Also The Hero shrine doenst give you a special ending.

There's a new shrine, that's based on the junk knight. You offer junk to it and get sir junkan's boon as a blessing. Which is a piece of armor.
