Shards map and monoliths location

Here is the map with all the shards. In the center should be my cursor, it's not a shard icon.

I added some informations to find all the 16 monoliths. No picture for now, but I can add some if you need.

I don't want to make a big guide about this, but you can get the location of shards/monoliths you miss. Then you have to find yourself the way to it :)

Monolith location (still roughly :D)

Important information : It appears that sometimes the game randomly sets monolith in the wall between the 4th position of each area. I mean that maybe MY 7th monolith could be YOUR 6th.
So you should check every position if one is missing somewhere. (Thanks Matti for the information) :)

NORTH : (1 to 4)

1. Half your way after you leave the town, you have to climb some stairs at a moment. Then, you will find a plateform on the right at some moment with a green thing. There is a hidden switch here.

2. You have to reach the little hut with the ermit. From this place, instead of climbing and meet the old ermit you have to go throught the wall to the south.

3. You need 3 shards. On your way to the boss, you meet a big room with a lot of bookcase. You have to stick to the left side at one point (you will find snow) Then there is a lot of secrets into the secret. You will finally find it.

4. You need the 8 shards, open up the 8-shards door and go throught the big battle. (TP then go up and right then go down to find the door)

SOUTH (5 to 8)

5. When you meet the place where your friend die, you can see the monolith on the left. BUT, to reach it, you have to switch screen, go bottom and then go left until you find some stairs. Climb then go right. A passage is into the forest to the north.

6.Still in the same elevator, open up the 1 shard-door. You will find it somewhere near a elevator by going throught the left wall. Again check some stones on the floor.

7. Take the elevator in the south-west area (the one to fight the bullet hell boss) then in your second screen, you will find a path into the left wall. Check the stones on the floor.

8.Take the elevator in the north-east area. After a serie of room, you will find some invisible plateforms.

EAST (9 to 12)

9. One is at the southest part ot the east area. You have to find some invisible plateforms.

10. Close to the TP, you have to go right then go behind the door without opening it. At the top of the screen you can go left.

11. You need 3 shards. Go through the 3-shards door, and you will find a location with a lot of tents. Stick to the right side until you find a switch (visible switch, you can active it by sword or gun).

12. You need 8 shards. You follow the path and take the elevator. Go throught every room until you find another elevator that brings you at the surface again. At the elevator, you can dash to the left.

WEST (to 13 to 16)

13. You need to open the 3-keys door (close to the town when you left the city, you go right two times, then you will find some little floating plateforms. Just go north from here)

14. You have to find a location when there is a little campfire.It's some screen to the left after you TP. You can go to the left through the trees.

15. Go through the 8-shards door. You have to go throught a big forest. Then when you will find a yellow box on the bottom left and you will find some invisible plateforms.

16. After you killed the boss, in the shadow area, just stick to the lef wall until you find something.

Hey thanks for the photos! They helped me suss out a couple spots to check during one of my first playthroughs. I wrote a text guide for the shards (not the monuments) that could probably supplement these images pretty well, you can find it here:

Those should help people pinpoint the locations displayed in these images if they're having trouble finding all eight.

That means you have found a new outfit. You can change your outfit into your house. The outfit you get by finding all the monolith increases your Health max by 1.

I found all the monolith, but it just showed up a man with other cloth, what does that mean??

Oh ? My 7th monolith was the one I described in the guide. So I assume you are right, and the position are randomly set on the wall. I will update thisn thanks a lot.

Maybe the location for each one is somewhat randomized between copies of the game?

I think you may have #6, #7 and #8 the wrong way around. For me #6 is at the location you put for #8, #8 is at the location you put for #7, and #7 is at the location you put for #6.
