Go into the options menu, click the 'multiplayer' tab, and on the lower half of the options window is a drop down menu, click on it and select 'Allow all custom files from the server.' Note: Sometimes garrysmod might be bugged and not download content. In order to fix this, set the multiplayer option to 'Do not download any custom files,' click apply, and close the window. Then re-open the window, set the option back to 'Allow all custom files from the server,' and click apply again.

Welcome and Features of the Server

Welcome to the server's guide, today this will be a short explaination on how our server works and a roleplaying guide. Enjoy and please read this and check out our server if you wish.

Features of the Server

Day and Night Cycle with weather (weather is rare on Tatooine)
Intense roleplay, connections to players and members of the community.
Actual fearful occupation of Tatooine.
Expertimental Mics (Can be disabled at any time, don't abuse mics or you won't have them)
Factions:
Imperial Cadets (joinable at joining the server, you don't hold any real power)
Imperial Stormtroopers (joinable after recieveing your basic training (which is actually really fun))
Citizens (joinable at joining the server, you are being oppressed and can have a positive/negative image of the Imperial occupation.)
Hutt Cartel (must join IC, the crime syndicate of the server)
Tusken Raiders (a trusted only faction, will be in charge of attacking the Imperial settlement and having a reason for citizens to fear going outside the city.)

Rules

Rules:

• No metagaming, you can't hear infomation through walls or across the map.
  
• No random deathmatching, you should know when to shoot if you would in real life.
  
• Don't mic spam on your mic if mic's are enabled, usually mics being enabled is experimental to see if people can handle voice acting and roleplaying.
  
• Always be in character unless in an admin sit, there is no going ooc. If you want to go afk and not be bothered, go into the spawn room as it is not an IC room.
  
• Don't spam, common sense.
  
• Use proper judgement before attacking or arresting players.
  
• The ONLY sprays that can be used is sprays that represent Imperial or Resistance proproganda. You may be punished if you spray porn or anything else.

THE SERVER TAKES PLACE 6 MONTHS AFTER THE BATTLE OF ENDOR, THE IMPERIALS HAVE TAKEN CONTROL OF TATOOINE, SPECIFICALLY THE CITY OF ANCHORHEAD.

The second Death Star has been destroyed, The Emperor and his
powerful enforcer, DARTH VADER, are rumored to be dead. The majority of the Imperial military has been wiped out. Following the BATTLE OF ENDOR, the Rebel Alliance has reformed into the NEW REPUBLIC.

Luke Skywalker has founded the new JEDI ORDER, following the teachings of his mentors, Obi Wan Kenobi and Master Yoda. The first Jedi younglings have begun their training.

The GALACTIC EMPIRE is in chaos. Across the galaxy, some systems celebrate, while in others Imperial factions tighten their grip. Imperials scatter across the Galaxy.
The Republic has moved into the core worlds, pushing Imperial resistance into the outer rim and unknown regions of the Galaxy.

The Republic has had dozens of planets join them in unification, electing a new CHANCELLOR and GALACTIC SENATE, choosing CHANDRILA as their new Capital. The Republic has moved into the core worlds, pushing Imperial resistance into the outer rim and unknown regions of the Galaxy.

An Imperial remnant controlled by an unknown colonel has taken over the CITY OF ANCHORHEAD on the desert planet of TATOOINE. Rumors of FORCE SENSITIVES surge throughout the planet, the Imperials recruiting INQUISITORS to strike fear into into the citizens. The Imperials have become cruel and oppressive across the planet and galaxy with the planets they still control.

Resistance among the citizens struggle to contact the Republic. Leaders of the new RESISTANCE OF ANCHORHEAD have decided to take things into their own hands...

Citizens

Citizens

Citizen’s are one of the most important parts of the roleplay, and will help decide the fate of the Republic and the Galactic Empire. Your character will have to decide through multiple events to figure out which side to choose the resistance, or the remnants of the Empire. Your character cannot have opinions on either the resistance or the empire when you make it. (Unless you get a veteran character approved) You can’t just gain an opinion about something without experiencing it. So seeing somebody get gunned down by Imperials could affect it, or having the Resistance do a terrorist attack may affect your opinion about either side negatively.

Making money can be one of the most challenging thing to do when being a civillian. There are several ways that you can earn money. Make a shop. Cantina’s, Markets, Services and Stores are one of the easiest ways to make money. Be convincing while being a shopkeeper, come up with special names for products and drinks, and be creative.

Interact with Storm Troopers, see if they’re looking for someone to do a job for the Empire. If they are looking for workers, they will give you a task, and instruct you on what to do, and give you credits in their discretion.

If the Imperials begin to treat you unfairly, and your IC character has had enough, You can form a resistance cell, or if your character is tired of the resistance and their minor acts of terrorism, you can get recruited to join the Imperial forces.
And as you have free will you can also choose a righteous path of justice and try to single handedly destroy both factions.

Imperial Stormtroopers

The Imperial Remnants is usually the dominant faction of any planet, a fact that is quickly changing. The Empire as a whole is being overthrown and losing control on planet after planet. On Tatooine, the Empire has significant assets left behind and is doing whatever it takes to hold planet. The job of Storm Troopers on the planet is to play the role of a police force, but its best thought of as an occupation. Troopers will rarely see combat on the desolate outer rim planet of Tatooine. When it comes to the occupants of the city the only things that are prohibited are breaking curfew (when the sun sets for roleplaying possiblity.) Harming another player or damaging Imperial property, irresponsible use of blasters, attempting to spread anti-imperial thoughts (Example: “God, I hate the empire, don’t you? If we all stand together we can…”).

(Imperials can Rebel, but it is HEAVILY INFORCED so ask a super admin and faction leader. This is to prevent every Imperial from being an FN.)

While patrolling inside of the city, remain on foot. Using speeders to patrol around the city is unnecessary. Storm troopers constantly driving around the city on speeders, going 90 miles per hour, does not feel immersive, and does not make sense. This is also to protect citizens from being ran over and harmed/killed. If somebody is ran over this way it is a NLR death.

When leaving the city, keep in mind you should be commanded by a higher up to survey the outside area, the excuse “The Rebels might be out there,” isn’t a reason to be outside of the city. You have to have a genuine reason, like a recent rebel attack, and you saw the Rebels exit the city after it ended. Before leaving the city keep in mind there is several tribes of Tuskens outside of the city walls, so going outside of the perimeter could get you shot. If you get commanded to do a patrol around the canyon, do a cycle around the area you've been designated to. If you are commanded,“Patrol the center of the canyon.” You are to only patrol around the center of the canyon, deviation from the route is can only be decided by the highest ranking trooper on the patrol. if you do not see any Rebels or suspicious activity in the area for more than 2 minutes, report back to base. If you are on a speeder, the timer of patrolling the area is 2 minutes, if you’re on foot patrolling, the time is 5. The time is flexible but keep it realistic; You’re on a desert world and you wouldn’t be searching high and low for 30 minutes for a POSSIBLE resistance member that may or may not be around; You’d realistic be dehydrated and may even die.
You cannot circle around the entire canyon over and over again if you are on speeder, or if you’re on foot, if you cannot find the Target of interest in the time period, you have to return. Circling around the canyon is not fair for Rebels, or people trying to hide from Imperials.

Tusken Raiders

The tusken raiders are DONATABLE and Trusted member faction. They are this because they regulate when citizens from leaving the protection of the Imperials, etc. They are donatable for 20$ because they are so much of a trust dependent faction.

It's a guide to the server as rp isn't exactly everyones strong suit. It's not as easy to get into as ttt or darkrp.

So, I have been having trouble as of late, it seems that I am not able to use my weapons at all. I have tried to subscribe to the addon but it still does not work. The only thing I'm able to do with my weapon the DL-44 is select it and it doesn't allow me to shoot. All it does is just be pointed downward, so is it a problem that I'm suffering alone or is this just something everybody deals with?
