By Mr. Hugh Mannity
Now we all know getting this ending can be tricky, so I made a guide to help you guys out:

Introduction
Couple of things to note, I suggest to beat the game first without seeing any guide/walkthrough in order to familiarize yourself with the characters/place. Also during my playthrough I didn’t do any job nor use lethal attack (blunt all the way) and don't have any partner with me.
Guide
  • Saved by merchants. Pick the first choice.
  • Tell Kota to calm down. He's on the rice field on the village. Just check the local map and you'll know where he is.
  • Princess scene in Omiki Town.
  • Join Amana by talking with the recruiter on the castle. You just need to survive and be the last one standing.
  • Meet Setsuen on the Road, talk to him after scene.
  • Join Ouka. Get the guard's leader health to half.
  • Back to the Road for another scene with Setsuen, don't talk to him afterwards.
  • Talk to Munechika on the village about farming. "I'll think about it" and "They'll understand someday".
  • Talk to Osei until she starts standing in the fields above Kota. What you need to do is talk with her everyday and answer her questions correctly (see my list below). If you're doing it right, she'll move from the side of the house to the front of the stable and inside the house. Finally you'll meet her on the back of the house to answer her final question. So my routine is basically talk with her in the morning - go to sleep till the next morning - and sometimes save. If she doesn't ask you any question, just go to sleep and she'll probably ask you in the next morning. Rinse and repeat until you see her moving around the house and finally in the fields above Kota. It took me 17 days to finally get her outside. A better alternatives than mine (thanks kannukz) is to exit and then re-enter the village to reset the conversations.
  • (Night) Go to the Road. See a scene between Setsuen and the spy, don’t talk to him after scene.
  • (Same Night) Go to Kuchihagahara and Shinnosuke talks about Sakura's. Pick the middle choice. For some reason if I talk to Shinnosuke BEFORE going to the Road, the whole Setsuen scene just disappear.
  • (Morning) Talk with Kota for "Kota's sword" scene. Now here's the part where it got weird. Some guide out there might tell you to go to Amana Castle after the "Kota's sword" to get the Shinnosuke event. But when I did that, what happened next was all the inklings suddenly appeared on the map and when you go to one of them it started the Oda's invasion event and skipped the whole day, leaving you with no space for Osei's farming event. Now what I did here was simple, after I finished watching "Kota's sword", I sleep till evening and warp to other place. Let's say I move to Omiki Town. And when I checked the map I can see the inkiling on the village. I warped back to the village and the inkling disappear (Also it's already nighttime). So I go back home and sleep till the next evening and voila!
  • (Evening) Osei farming event. Pick the top choice. I might be wrong but I think it's important to see this event before the Oda's invasion. And when you've done everything right, all inklings appeared all over the map and you just need to go to one of them to start the Oda's invasion event.

Oda's invasion event

  • The next day go to the village to see Munechika and Osei scene. Make sure you bring a lot of health items.
  • Go to Minori castle and save Yuma, I don't think it matters what you do with Genjuurou (I simply pick the bottom choice and let him go) and then when you get to Yuma, pick the top choice and defeat him with blunt attacks. After that just check the inkling on the local map and escape.
  • Back to Takatane for scene with Osei. Pick the top choice to leave Amana with her.
  • Remember that health items I told you about? Use them to survive Shinnosuke relentless attack and defeat him. Not sure whether killing him or not affect the ending but I played it safe and beat him using the blunt attack.
  • Enjoy the ending scene!
Osei's answers
Below are the answers to the question Osei asks:

"I wish all the samurai would disappear from this world..."
-"You're absolutely right."
-"Samurai are a necessary evil."
-"I fight for that future."

"I like the people from this village."
-"Whining won't solve anything."
-"Deal with it."
-"Don't use weakness as an excuse!"

"I hate samurai."
-"I don't mean you any harm."
-"Isn't that being prejudice?"

"The sight of a sword in this village is frightening..."
-"I'll be careful."
-"Oh..."
-"The world will change one day."

"I've seen many samurai in my life"
-"There are reasons to fight."
-"For the future."

"Oh... welcome"
-"I'm here to talk to you"
-"About Amana..."
-"How are the crops?"

"The flames of war are spreading destruction across the land."
-"Until there is peace."
-"Peace will come once the country is united."
-"I'll save as many lives as I can."

"I enjoy this village's landscape."
-"I think so too."
-"I like the landscape of this village."
-"I feel more alive here."

"Well, well. You again..."
-"I want to clear something up"
-"I'm sorry..."

"Munechika said that eventually, a war..."
-"I don't want to fight"

"Every fall, Takatane village has a small festival."
-"That's exactly why you need the festival."
-"Praying brings people together."
-"I feel the same way."

And that should get you ending #2. By far it's my favorite one.

The cutscene with Setsuen and the spy only triggered after I talked to shinnosuke

@kannukz thanks for the correction! It's been a while since I play this game so I might give it a go sometimes later.

You don't have to sleep overnight to get different conversations with her. Just exit and then re-enter the village to reset the conversations. Got her outside by day 2 or 3 with this method. Overall, great guide, thank you.
