Age of Mythology EE: 100% Achievements Guide

I didn't see a Guide talking about every Age of Mythology Achievement, only part Guides with a few of them. So, as I got all Achievements recently, I thought I may help others, even if I didn't use all the methods I will show, I know they work.

First considerations.

First off, I will divide this Guide into a few Categories:

Campaigns, Matches, Victories, Commander and Foe, Kill-Destroy and Lose, Building, Becoming a Legend and Online.

Mind that every match should be played in Online-Mode in order to make it easier for 1.000-Matches-Achievement. Also, always using Maps on Random for Aimless Wonderer. I will explain it properly on Online-Part of the Guide.

Campaigns.

Ok, this is pretty straight forward, just finish each Campaign in the Game. The Campaigns are: Learn to Play; Fall of the Trident; The New Atlantis; The Golden Gift; Tale of the Dragon[DLC].There are not many tips I can give about it, only one: Always search the whole map, there are always some good secrets to be found. :) Still. Have a Good time on those!

Matches.

100 Games in each Game-Type sound quite boring, especially when there are 5 of them. I love the game, but I must admit it. However, as I said in the first part of this Guide, we need to reach 1.000-Games. Therefore these 500 are a good boost. Halfway. Also, you don't need to finish the game, as long as you start the game, it will already count as +1. If you play each one of them in Online-Mode, it will count to both, Games Played in each kind and 1.000 Online-Matches.

Victories.

Just win 10 games of each Game-Mode. Master of Supremacy, Lighting, Deathmatch, Conquest, Treaty. Which is quite nice, right? Well, I think so. Also, it is the next topic, for each Game-Mode you can win 10 times with 5 diferent Major Gods and 10 times defeat 5 other Major Gods or more. I will talk about Eradicator of the Machine later on, when I talk about Champion of the Community.

Side note:

To boost the 10-Victories-Achievements, you can also play Offline normally and save right before winning and keep Loading it back. I read it here, it works and it works on Age of Empires 2. But, as we are only talking about Online-Mode, it is not possible. Or I couldn't do it myself and I don't know, please correct me in the comments.

Commander or Foe of a God.

The fastest way of doing this is by Scenarios, using them in Online-Mode. You see, even if winning in it will not give you one more Online-Victory, it will still count as both Online-Game and God-Victory/Defeat. Just make a quick Scenario of hundred Titans against one Hoplite, use imagination. Remember to always fight against more than one enemy, so then, it can count more than one God at once! Not sure, if it happens as in Age of Empires 2, when you can set yourself against 10-Hades AI. After you win, you get +10 Defeat of Hades. Tell me in the comments, please. :)

Kill-Destroy and Lose.

4 Achievements here: Annihilation, Remember the Fallen, Demolition and Time to Rebuild. This is the funniest of them all, I used to play with Editor like this for hours. Just make a good Scenario for killing or losing as many units or buildings as you please, it is always fun to watch it. Also, don't forget to do it on Online-Mode just to get +1 Online-Game.

Side note here:

You can make armies quite easily with Copy-Paste tool in the Editor. In the Editor-Bar the second option is Edit, in it, there will be Unit Copy and Unit Paste. Have fun!

Building.

3 Achievements here, Creating a Masterpiece, Horror Unleashed, Stone and Steel. You need to build 10 Wonders, 25 Titan-Gates and 100 Fortresses. The only typ I can give you is to while in Deathmatches build one of each before winning the game, this is how I got mine. One Fortress for each one of the 100 Victories-Online/Deathmatch-Game and it is a piece of cake.

Becoming a Legend.

Becoming a Legend is just a fun way to title the Achievements, which you must alone defeat one to a group of 11 Computer-AI together. Is it not a Legend? The most satifing Achivement I've got. There are two ways of doing this, one of which I am not sure about, as I didn't get it that way: 1. The way I did it, proudly. I fought hardly to win them all. Normally 'till a team of 6. After that I gave up and used a trick, which can be used from 1 to 11 foes. Set a Jutunheim-Map, play against Easy to make it easier and set their AI to Defense, they won't attack. Still, guard your walls. Build a Wonder and win the game, after the Wonder is complete, they will attack, but not that hard.
2. Scenario-Editor. Just set an army by your side and one unit to each of the enemies, it works on Age of Empires 2, it may work here as well. Tell me in the comments, please.

Edit: It seems, it doesn't work on Online-Mode. Please, tell me if it indeed doesn't work.

Online-Achievements.

Alpaca Hour: Now comes the pain. First of all, good luck with Alpaca Hour, I waited almost 1 year to get it. Let's pray to all gods for them to make another DLC and maybe we have another Alpaca Hour. Well, I created an Twitter-Account to watch them, they usually post it there. Also, their Facebook-Page Forgotten Empire and Age of Empires. And in Age of Mythology in Online-Mode, there is a little window called Events, when it is on, it will show there. Good luck, mates.

Side Note: As it seems, you can just change the time in your Computer to the time an Alpaca Hour was On and still get the Achievement. All my struggles for nothing, thanks, world. Leader of the Fearless: This is quite easy, if you do as I said, you will earn it quite fast. Now is when I explain how to set an Online-Game. In Main-Menu, go to Online. Then, click on Create a Game. Write anything to the name, it does not matter, if public or not, after sometime you will start the game so fast, no one will be able to join in. Choose how many foes you want to face and set to Computer AI. Funny thing is, no matter if you play against Human or AI, as long as you are in Online, it will count as a full Online-Game, every game you play will be +1 Online-Game and every victory (beside Scenarios) will be +1 Online-Victory.
One among the Eager: 50 quickgames. Well, nothing to say here, really. Just go to Online and click on Quickgame, hope to the game find another person. You also do not need to finish the game, as long as you start it, it count +1. I made many people angry, as I just started the game and left. But, beware doing so will count as a Lose and your Score will be downed.This is the most boring one of them all.
Champion of the Community: I suggest to win 100 Deathmatches against AI Computer, that way you can boost a lot of Achievements. You can set the Computer-AI to No-AI to boost its speed. Also, after the 100th win against AI, you can get Eradicator of the Machine.
One among the Flock: If you do as I said and always play on Online-Games, this one will not be as bad as it sounds, when you see it the first time. Play all 100 Deathmatches, Lighting, Treaty, Conquest and Supremacy on Online-Game-Mode and you will have halfway there, you add 10 victories with each one of the 9 Major Gods(Plus DLC new Major Gods.) and you get a good number to start of. That kind of lucky I didn't get, for example.

[Vaca]

For the Hour of Alpacas achievement, if you can`t launch the game or restart the Steam after changing the windows time as I did, set it back to normal, run Steam, run AoM WITH the launcher option, when the launcher pops up you can finaly change the time to Feb 7th 2016. Now you can play it and get the achievement

I've found that if you use Scenario Editor and make a Trigger with Condition: Timer (as little as 5 seconds works) and Effect: Set Player Win (player 1) you can get all of the Commander achievements fairly quickly, just gotta set player 1's God to what you need.

Hi, is it possible to get all achievements within 70 hrs gameplay?

I'm having trouble with the achievements for defeating the AI. I've been playing them all online with it set to "No AI", which isn't counting towards having defeated any AI. I tried making a scenario and playing it online with the enemies all set to "defender". It also didn't do anything for the AI count.

What am I missing? I'm very new to the game, which is why I'm still playing it the easiest way possible. Did I misread and the AI ones have to be done offline?

About the 1k games: It's just about always play Online when doing all Achievements.

Hi, could you describe in more detail how to get online achievements? Through the translator, it's quite unclear and I don't understand English very well :)

I want to add, that you can turn on cheats in online and just write THRILL OF VICTORY and insta win every time
On a related note, very based of them to have the option to turn cheats on in multiplayer
