Introduction To Subnautica
Subnautica is an underwater based game where you must gather resources to build, fight, survive, evolve, and much more. The story of Subnautica is about a ship that has been damaged (Caused by engine damage, to my knowledge.) and crash-landed on a water planet. You are the only survivor out of over 100 crew members. Your life-pod is also damaged, but it cannot be repaired since it is not nessesary to do so. The Aroura is the ship that seemed to crash on one of the very few islands in the game. The ship will explode from/by a reactor malfunction. This can be repaired only if the ship has exploded!
Starting Off
You start off in a life-pod, equiped with a fabricator, powercells, and resources in the storage case.

In the storage case, there is/are organic bars that can replenish your food bar greatly, along with other materials such as titanium, water, "floaters":

and other items that can help you.

Your fabricator is like a crafting table. Fabricators allows you to create any item avalible in the game (Vehicles and other organic life might not be fabricated.). The fabricator allows you to select the items that you want to craft with/by pushing the buttons shown when the fabricator is activated.

Fabricators require resources/materials to make the items.
If you are new to the game, I would suggest crafting the Scanner Tool:

The scanner can be found within the button that looks like a person. Once the option/tab is open in the fabricator, hover over the item that looks like the scanner shown above (The image above looks slightly different than the image shown in the fabricator.).
Using The Fabricator
The fabricator is a machine that can craft/make any avalible item in the game. As always (unless your in creative mode) you require resources and blueprints to make those items. Materials, Food, Equipment, Deployables, and Modifications are tabs of the fabricator. Some items require items that must be crafted by the fabricator. Hovering over the items will display/show the requirements to make it. Walking away from the fabricator will deactivate it.
Underwater Exploring/Resource Gathering
Before going out of your Life Pod or base, make sure that you know what you are going to get or do. If you want to get tools or other things, you must know the requirements before you exit your Pod/Base, otherwise you could encounter a problem. It is also good to know what each creature and living thing is and what it can do to you.
Important Information On Creatures
Some creatures are carnivores, herbivores, or omnivores. Carnivores will mostlikely try to eat you unless it is too small to eat you (but don't assume that they wont. It is best to assume that each creature is harmful. Please read on to know which ones are SAFE.) Airsacks, Peeperfish, Hoverfish, Eye fish, Deep Sea Peeper (Oculus), Garry fish (Yellow colored fish), Hoop Fish, Boomerang fish, Spade fish, Reginald fish, and Hole fish are common edible fishes.

- Harmless (non-edible) fish:

Reefback, Shuttlebug, Rabitray, Cute Fish, Skyray, and Jellyray (Unknown if it attacks or not).

- Harmfull (non-edible) Herbivores:

Crash, Sea Treader (Unknown to my knowledge), Gasspod, Shocker (Unknown to my knowledge, but it does attack with electricity), and Tiger Plant (Plant not fish).

- Harmfull (non-edible) Carnivores:

Bleeder, Bitter (ALL TYPES), Sand Shark, Crawler (ALL TYPES), Stalker, Bone Shark, Mesmer (This fish is very rare, but I read up on this, I think that it was a fish that could eat almost anything. It is ironic since it is a very small fish! but it is know to eat fish by opening it's jaws, which are much bigger than it's self! Avoid if possible.), Warper(Can and should only teleport in/around the ocean ONLY! It should not spawn/teleport into/inside a "Fish Tank." If the fish spawns/teleports anywhere other than in the ocean, the game might be buggy.), and Crab Snakes (Located in the deeper parts of the ocean. Can be found inside cave openings, inside of large/giant mushroom looking plants. Avoid if possible.).

- AVOID AT ALL COSTS:

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED AT ANY MEANS NESSISARY (unless you want to die in the game.)!!!!!!!!

Crabsquid (Unknown to my knowledge, but does seem to attack according to images of it's size.), Reaper Leviathans (Knwon to spawn/be near the Aroura. Tends to make a loud roar in around a 100 meter radious.), Sea Emperor (Unknown to my knowledge, but is supposed to be much larger than the Reaper Leviathans. The creature is shown in the Official Early Access trailer of Subnautica.),
and the all mighty SEA DRAGON LEVIATHAN (Unknown to my knowledge. I have never seen, heard, or read about yet!)
Mobile Vehicle Bay (MVB) Deployable
The Mobile Vehicle Bay (MVB) is a deployable, surface, vehicle fabricator. It can currently construct only Cyclopses and Seamoths. The Exosuit seems to not be craftable since it is not completely finished, although it can be spwned into the game by the command: "spawn exosuit".
The MVB can be moved (by collision, just like to life pod), deployed, collectable, and/or useable.
It uses hovering fabrication bots that construct the vehicles at a safe distance away from you in the air. Once the construction is complete, the bots should return to the MVB and the vehicle should fall into the water.
Vehicles
There are currently only two fully functional and completed vehicles in the game that can be piloted.

1.) The Cyclops: A massive submersible vehicle that is capable of containing a fabricator, storage units, Hull Plates (No longer in the game, although could still be useable if you recieved a code or bought an earlier version of the game that is no longer for sale.), and other items. It uses power cells for power and ONLY power cells. The massive sub can be modified (Just like the Seamoth) with/using the modification capsules in the game. The capsules can do different things such as allowing to go deeper, stronger hull, or other modifications. The cyclops can holdthe seamoth in the docking bay underneath the sub in the middle.

2.) The Seamoth: A small sub that is similar to the cyclops, except, it only holds a pilot, powercell, and modification access panel. The Seamoth can be docked into the Cyclops or Moonpool. The modification access panel is located on the left wing/fin part of the sub. You do not require a moon pool to add the modifications/upgrades to the seamoth, but it is recommended to use the moon pool since it allows the ability to place/build/construct the Seamoth upgrade station. The Upgrade Station is small and compact. It can be placed/constructed/built on the walls inside of the moon pool. You can place it on any wall, but it can be hard to determin where it can be placed since there is a specific spot on the wall that allows you to build it. The modifications/upgrades can allow the Seamoth to have a storage container, topedo launcher, electric defense system, hull renforcement, depth improvement, and/or Sonar ability. Note that you can only have four modification/upgrade modules/capsules for the both the Cyclops and Seamoth vehicles.

3.) The Exosuit: Although the Exosuit cannot be crafted, it can be spawned into the game using the command: "Spawn Exosuit". The Exosuit is a vehicle that can walk, fly, mine, search, and more. Although, due to "incompleteness", the Exosuit cannot do any of those things (unless you have enabled the experimental option when the options menu appeared when you launched the game.).
It is known to be an "awesome" vehicle, but some users may discover that the exosuit just looks like a blocky, non-flyable, non-movable, non-minable, vehicle. Although some people are able to see and use the Exosuit in a different "version" or option of the game.
Easter Eggs/Possible Future Features
There are some "consperacies" that there are going to be more new and exciting vehicles added in the future for Subnautica. I have found many possible "features" that just might be in Subnautica.
These features are:

1.) Advanced Sub: I am not sure of the name of any of these vehicles, but this one looks similar to the cyclops sub. It could be a future design/upgrade to the Cyclops vehicle. It looks boss compaired to many other vehicles in Subnautica.

2.) Eagle 2: Now I am definately not sure if this is from another game, but I found it and it looks like a glider. It could also be an upgraded version of the Seamoth, but I highly doubt it.

3.) Roadmap: The Roadmap concept allows the ability to dock a Cyclops with a base, where both connect together.

4.) Survaliance Camera: The Survaliance Camera is like a vehicle, but will be a remote controled vehicle that can be controled from the survaliance room.

5.) The Island: The Island has been proven true and does exist within the game. There are about 3-5 islands in the game. Tha map below shows the location of everything (The map might be outdated, but the islands did not change, only the the location of a few items and the Life Pod).

6.) Unknown Sub: This sub is big and boss looking, but the only thing that I do not know is what it's name is. It looks similar to the Cyclops (Like I said for the other above) since the cockpit is located in the front of the vehicle, sticking outward. Although, there is one fact that could determin if this will be the future design of the Cyclops. That fact is within the image it's self.
If you take a really close look at the cockpit, the pilot is exstreamly small. Thus the cockpit is roughly about 2-4 times larger (In space/volume) than the Cyclops Cockpit, and since the cockpit is just a very small portion of the sub, the entire sub/vehicle it's self must be exstreamly large.
Now the main question is: Could this vehicle be in a future update?
The asnwer is unlikely, because the vehicle is so massive, it wont be able to travel near the Life Pod and other shallow locations on the map. The main resources are located in the middle/reaf areas on the map, therefore, the only use for this vehicle is for fun, exploration, waste of materials, or any other bad/negative or useless impacts. The vehicle can travel in deep areas such as the void and more. Although, there is still a posibility that this could come. Either the developers expand the map, lower the terrain, move the vital reasources, and/or just put it in the game for fun. I believe that this could be a massive improvement for the game if they added the vehicle along with expanding map.

7.) New Cockpit Concept Design: Now this is mostlikely a community made design, but this just looks epic, even though I don't know what it could be for. The new cockpit looks like a combination of a seamoth with a cyclops design. Now the reason for why I said I am not sure what it could be used for, is because the size of the cockpit could be modified to fit the Seamoth, Cyclops, and/or Exosuit, and/or it could be a cockpit for a new/different ship. Although, the design would not be best for a Cyclops because it does not seem to have a door into the "loading area" of the vehicle. If it does, then the design does not seem to allow the player to exit the cockpit. Although, in my opinion, it just looks cool!

8.) Cyclops Interior Design: This design made me think of how cool it cools and how clean/organized the interior is. Unlike the original Cyclops design, this design allows more space for the player to roam around the sub or move without having any or a lot of collision problems. Although, what makes this design weaker than the original, is that the water could flow in if there was a breach in the sub's hull (even though both designs fail to prevent the flow of water.), where the original design has a hatch to prevent the flow of water.

9.) The mysterious Crab/Snail based lifeform: I have seen this creature before, but not in the game. I have not seen it, heard of it, nor read about it, but it seems that this creature might be a combination/mutation of a Snail and a Crab together.

It was based off of the submarine that is now known as the Draconis (which I did not notice that was the name of the sub was on the image when I first got it)

You could also tell that is the issue because if you look at the text above the camera, you can see that the description for the camera is THERE!

The unknown sub description was supposed to be set on a submarine above the camera.
I am not sure why it was aligned like that.

A lot of the "easter egg" section looks to be the older art designs that were shelved in favor of current setups. just saying.
