Introduction
Is giving away your valuable resources for free a good idea? Why not just sell these resources and help you economy? This is probally your question when comming to Aid Deals. Well here I am back for another thrilling instalment in Diplomacy 101 covering Aid Deals.
Aid, aid, aid, did I mention aid?
So lets get down to is, I'm playing as China (The mod/scenario is Over By Christmas) and my relation with France is below 500, what a crisis.

So we're going to fix this by the power of Aid Deals!
To set up an Aid Deal, go to Trade Negotiations and Select offer, choose Offer Aid then pick the country of your choice.

The Effects
Depending on what you send via Aid Deal, it will take 1 or 2 turns, in my case 2.

Now once this is done your relation will go up by 1 point. This will happen every 2 turns.
Boom 431 Rep, already best friends!
Epilouge
Remember this method is time consuming and slow, if you want a quick rise in reputation/relation just trade some unwanted land. However using an Aid Deal makes a steady rise that lasts for as long as you want if the AI doesn't cancel it, allowing you to reach levels such as very close with countries you've poor reputation/relation with.
Or you could just use freedom bombs.
