Release date: As soon as Greenlit
Hello, Steam Greenlight!
I already have a game in the making that is currently waiting to be greenlit titled Missileman Origins, but I figured there is one other game I have in mind that I wanted to release on Steam as well. That game is Dynamite Alex, a title I created back in 2014, but with little fanfare at all at the time. It runs on the same engine as Missileman Origins, and therefore having a similar sense of classic 2D run 'n gun gameplay as such.

Dynamite Alex, however, is already complete and ready for release. If the game becomes greenlit, it will be released as soon as possible for the low low price of $0.99. For a dose of action-platforming that spans seven Areas with two levels in each, it wouldn't be easy to go wrong with that!

As Alexandra, you aim to stop the evil Mr. Z from using her father's technology to create armies of artificial robbers and robots, and along the way you travel through the city, a dance palace, waterfall-filled caverns, and more!

@Acuze Thanks!

Also correction: The game has only been submitted for approval to release so far.
Forgot it takes a couple days after that for the opportunity to release.

Yeeeaah. We didn't quite think it through.

I wanted Opium Pulses to promote this game like how they did with Missileman Origins. However, they were trying out this giveaway feature on their website, and we somehow agreed to have DA be a part of it. It's not that DA wouldn't be able to have votes without it, though - people were willing to vote in favor of Missileman without getting anything, after all. Yet with DA's giveaway existing, someone at Valve questioned the validity of DA's votes. Now we know to just do what we did with Missileman for future cases.

Valve, I apologize for any misunderstandings there are with the matter. I can guarantee that many people want to see this game make it to Steam. OP and I both now know it was a mistake to put DA in this position, so to avoid further confusion we will not use it for any times I'll have a game in Greenlight in the future. It would be great if DA can surface onto Steam sometime soon. There are plenty that look forward to it.

looks like it has potential. Although I think the reasoning towards it not being greenlit by now would be a giveaway for votes. Although hopefully it didnt affect the greenlight chance to much, best of luck

@Bongo I suppose it depends on what you think is an asset flip. ^^:

Not my cup of tea; but you put effort into it and its not a asset flip, have an upvote!
