Description
More unique mechanics and flavor for Switzerland, very early version!

The 1.16 update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over a lot of things, it works for now, but not like it should. The state / territory system is bad :(

Unique government
The confederacy has no real capital and is governed by the rural and city cantons together with monasteries and feudal members.

New culture
The Romand people are an important part of Switzerland's cultural identity. Instead of having a common 'Swiss" culture, the country just accepts other cultures easier to represent its multicultural foundation.





* Not compatible with most Total Conversions that change province IDs (VEF, MEIOU, etc)
* Not recommended to use with other mods that change Switzerland's government
* Works very well together with my other Upper German mods

* Events, missions and decisions about historical Swiss conflicts

I had a bug which saw every single OPM joining switzerland in less than a decade. I guess something is wrong with the event

By the way, romand culture doesn't exist : it is part of the larger arpitan latin language group, which included Lyon, Savoy, northern Dauphine, southern Freigrafschaft and western Schweiz (lower Wallis, Waadt, Genf, Neuchatel). Only today is it completely different, because France integrated arpitan culture and it's gone in almost all of Savoy, Dauphine and Lyon, while french speaking Schweiz retained part of its former language (which also evolved through the centuries)

I guess that is a major issue : I started a game and Switzerland did in a few months grow to include all OPM in the HRE... from Lubeck, Friesland, Magdeburg, the three religious electors, all franconian states, and all imperial free cities.

Sorry, I just don't know enough about these countries to do them justice, my focus is Upper German nations. But I'm sure there are some Scottish, Danish and Serbian modders out there ;)
