I was hoping you might be able to help me.
I have successfully installed the patch. If I run the Classic game, the widescreen works perfectly. However, if I run Clone Campaigns, the widescreen does not work. I select Clone Campaigns> Widescreen> Manual. I then enter customer resolution (1600 x 900). It doesn't indicate there is any issue or error. I then click enable, and then launch the game, but it doesn't work. I tried the above again, but this time without selecting enable (just in case this is only for automatic) but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Apparently if you run the executable that gives you access to both the base game and expansion campaigns, the AI for the base campaign breaks and they don't make new units.
I'm using the GOG version, by the way.
I was just wondering if there is a version of the patch with all the files not packed into an exe installation, I'm trying to make it work on the steam deck or any Linux distribution and .exes sometimes install by themselves (outside the game directory) in the Linux file systems and if moved they wont have the proper dependencies and registry. I know its a long shot, I'm not asking anybody to fix my problems.
Once again a thousand thanks for the guide, and wish you well.
