Aufmarsch: The Great War 1914-1918

解説
IMPORTANT:
This mod is abandoned, but will remain on the Steam Workshop in its current legacy state for anyone who might still find it enjoyable. Comments have been disabled.

ALSO IMPORTANT:
You will need a map to play the mod, and vice-versa. There are maps which are listed on this page as required content. You will then find this map playable offline under 'custom game types' (as opposed to Territory maps.)

There is a known issue with the maps when playing Offline; if you get stuck in spectator or crash, just quit the game and launch it again. Peculiar, yes, but it seems to work.

----------
-----------

This mod will bring the First World War to RO2! Note: this is just the 'mod' files. You will need maps to play it!

The first version of Aufmarsch will be quite light as we are looking to see how the community reacts to it before developing further content.

This is a "gamemode" mod similar to Heroes of the West; it should be able to be ran on 'Custom Maps' servers where players can vote to hop into WW1 for a match, and then head back to RO2/RS afterwards.

There will be two fronts supported by the initial launch:
-Eastern Front 1915 Germany vs. Russia
-Western Front 1918 Germany vs. USA

These were selected due to the convenience of developing them (some of the weapons, voices etc..) If there is enough support and interest from the community that results in a larger dev team, more content will be created for the mod.

What's with the name?

Aufmarsch refers to the German Army deployment plans for the East and West fronts prior to the declaration of war with France and Russia. The 'Schlieffen plan' was developed by Field Marshall Alfred von Schlieffen, and they were put into use in the opening days of the war in mobilizing and moving troops to the appropriate fronts.
