"Here is another piece I did for Talisman: The Horus Heresy. This time the Primarch Konrad Curze
It’s a mixture of line art, photo manipulation and paint over work in Photoshop.
1 Line art derived from GW model reference, face reference from The Horus Heresy book 2 - Massacre by Forge world
2 Basic background elements photo comp and first pass colours on Curze.
3. Extensive over painting of the piece to add detail etc. reworked the face quite a lot on this one!
4. Final piece finished with Dataslate scan lines added reworked the proportions of the body to as Curze was looking a bit on the chunky side :)
