Disable game start-up intro

disable the intro

well after some time the game intro becomes boring and annoying and it waste time so to speed up thing and jump directly to the game minu you only have to delete or remove a file named "ea_bumper_english_ntsc.vp6" from the "MOVIES" folder .
-go to your steam folder (usually at C:/Programme Files/Steam) and locate Need for Speed Undercover then go to "MOVIES" folder after that locate and delete "ea_bumper_english_ntsc.vp6".
when you start the game you will notice that there is no intro and dont let the game chek for updates cause steam will re-download the same file again and you have to do the work again :p

I would rather leave it and just put the file back where it belongs tbh.

You mustn't notice much anyway because that file isnt just for the intro sequence. It's for a LOT of other cutscenes, such as race starts. Tested and verified on multiple PCs

emmm weird :o i played the game twice like this and never had any problem , if it happens to you just check the game files and steam will download the missing file automatically and fix it ;)

This trick does break most of the game as well. Palm Harbour Rally for example, when you activate it, it will no longer load. Infinite loading screen in other words.

Also, this doesn't solve any crashes, it just causes more. The crash everyone seems to experience is most likely due to either corrupt game files, or an external reason.

Deleting files from the game without removing the traces causes instability. Sure this makes your game load faster, but whats the point if you're going to see an infinite loading screen anyways.
