How to Quickscope
This section is about how to quickscope in Call of Duty. Although this guide is in the Black Ops III guides section, these methods can be applied to all cods, and I will explain what to do differently.

First-Pikcing a gun.
Black Ops III- The best 2 guns for getting qwiksc0pes in BO3 is obviously the Locus and SVG-100. Always use extended mags bcuz on PC u will likely miss quite a few shots. Use ballistic CPU and rapid fire as well, because we need to try match the fire rate of automatic guns as closely as possible.

Modern Warfare- The best guns for trickshotting in this game are the M4A3 and the R700. Althoug in order to hit feeds (which we will cover later) you can also use the Barett 50.cal
Now comes the fun part. Actually quickscoping. This process involves massive amounts of getting used to, and may involve quite a few deaths.
1) Centering the shot - in order to quickscope, you must first center the shot on the target. this is quite difficult to do, and may require some dragscoping to get used to.
2)Stop moving before pulling the trigger- This is crucial to hitting your shot, as moving and shooting greatly decreases accuracy. In Black ops 3, a great perk to use in order to help you do this would be Gung-Ho. This is an essential whenever sniping in BO3. In Cod 4, there is no perk to really help, therefore you will have to get to the longer scope time and stand still time.
3)Scoping in - This is essential to pull of a quickscope. When quickscoping, make sure that the player fully scopes in, and pull the trigger immediately as the crosshairs appear on the screen. This will ensure maximum accuracy and damage to the enemy. In BO3, there is no perk that increases scope-in time, therefore this can be difficult to do. In other Call of dutys, make sure how have sleight of hand equipped if available.
4) After the shot- Always make sure that you scope out after taking the shot, if necessary to scan the environment for more hostiles, scope in again, however, never remain scoped after pulling the trigger.

Things to note:
-In Black Ops III, it is very difficult to dragscope for more than 3 seconds. Therefore it is imperative that you take the shot as quickly as possible. You can practice against bots or with a friend in order to get used to the timing.
-In Black Ops III, it is nearly impossible to blackscope, due to the new motion blur and scope animation introduced in the game. Therefore, always, ALWAYS scope in fully onto the target.
Hitting Feeds
This section will focus on hitting feeds and other essential sniper tactics in order to get those great clips on Call of Duty.

Tactics: The tactics (playstyle) differ greatly when trying to go for feeds and trying to go for streaks.

Feeds: When going for feeds with any gun, it is important to rush. Sniper or Smg, Shotgun or AR. Always rush. It is also a good idea to flank the players if they are good, and get around them or behind them to take them by surprise, making it easier to get feeds in game. When hitting feeds, there are two 3 things that can really make the difference between a quad feed and a quad fail. If available, use Firebreaks heatwave ability. This shocks players around you, giving you some more time to hit that final shot, or survive longer to get kill chains e.t.c. Another good specialist ability is Battery's Kinetic Armor, as this will deflect bullets to the body, allowing you to get that final quickscope for the quad feed medal.

If these are unavailable, or you are playing another Call of Duty, tactical grenades are your next best friend. When going around a corner where you think you might have a quad, or rushing the enemy spawns with a sniper in hand, throw a flashbang or stun, giving you that extra time to gain some accuracy when shooting.

Streaks: When going for large streaks such as nuclears or motherships with a sniper. It is important not to do any rushing. This does NOT however, mean that you camp in your spawn. Going for streaks requires more tactical gameplay, and therefore the best tactic is to choose a location and defend it until too dangerous, or low activity. Always remain moving, as otherwise it becomes easy for an enemy to seek you out. When activity has died down completely, or is too high, move to another location as quickly as possible and begin to defend it again.

Movements: movements and the thrust also differ greatly when trying to get feeds and streaks.
Feeds: When trying to get feeds for clips (or achievements e.t.c.), use all the available movements you have in your posession. Use the wallruns to flank the enemy and get to their spawn safer, use the thrust jump the throw off the enemies aim, and use the G-slide to quickly evade the enemies bullets. It is a good idea to have the Afterburner perk when trying to get quad feeds or kill chains.

Streaks: When going for streaks, try to use less of the movements. Use the wallruns to your advantage, maybe to get to the defendable location, however do not start jumping and wallruning in the open, as this makes u succeptible to being picked off by other players. Do not thrust jump to pick off campers by quickscoping, as this will likely get you killed. When going for streaks it is advisable to swap out afterburner for sixth sense.

Hitting Trickshots
This section will cover the important factors to take into account when trying to go for trickshots.

The gun: In BO3 it is most advisable to use the SVG-100 with FMJ in order to trickshot, as the gun barely ever gets any hitmarkers. The drawbacks to this gun are that is is slughtly bulky, and slightly slower to insta-swap. Many people prefer using the Locus for this reason, which is also a great gun for hitting awesome trickshots, however, you are very likely to get a hitmarker.

The essential perks: Always have afterburner, fast hands and gung ho equipped on a trickshotting class. If you always use these perks anyway, you will not need to create a seperate class to hit trickshots. (these perks are advised for any sniper class, be it trickshotting or quicksoping.)

Key bingings. When going for a trickshot on PC, it helps greatly to use the following key bindings to hit the best looking trickshot.
R-Reload (this is closer to WASD, making it easier to press for that awesome finish)z
X-G-slide (Black Ops 3 only)
Q-Specialist (use a specialist weapon instead of abilitiy for trickshots, as they look better when insta-swapped and cancelled)
Spacebar-Jump (this makes it easier to double jump in game.)
Scroll Wheel*-Swap weapons (This is very important as it makes your life much easier when insta-swapping and cancelling specialists.

Movements: when hittig a trickshot, it is important to utilise all movements available to you. The best way to get good looking trickshots and height is to wallrun prior to spinning. This not only gives the clip a better look, but also provides you with enough time to instaswap, specialist cancel and gives higher thrust jump. It is also possible to hit a cool trickshot by thrust jumping after a G-Slide, or off a buidling edge or cliff.

Execution* (this may be a bit confusing so bear with me)
1) Thrust-Jump onto a wall or object and attempt to get as high as possible and wall run on the object or wall. Make sure that the end of the wall has a good view of the center of the map, or the target area for the trickshot
2)while wallrunning, keep scrolling up and down to insta-swap weapons. (It may take some practice to ensure that the last switch ends up on the sniper)
3) if the specialist weapon is available, Press Q and scroll up or down to cancel it just before the full animation has occured to equip it. If done correctly, and you miss the shot, the specialist bar should still be full when you respawn.
4)Press spacebar twice in order to double jump for the spin. (decide how many spins before executing the shot)
5) Move the mouse rapidly to the side in order to execute the spin of your choice. When complete, make sure the sniper is aimed at the target, or target location.
6)Pull the trigger, and hope to get lucky. (you do not have to noscope, you can also quickscope if you want)
7)If the trickshot was successful, press teh R key immediately, as this adds a cool reload after effect to the trickshot.
