Complete 100% Achievement Guide! - Spoiler free

Welcome to a world of despair that is Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc! This is a solo-guide by me focusing on gathering all the available achievements that are in the game including the post-game School Mode. Please feel free to leave a comment if you have a suggestion or questions.

Before we start!

• Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc apart from the original on the PSP now has two modes one being 'Main Story' and the other being 'School Mode'.

• Think of school mode as a kinda Persona-like mini-game where you can romance all the characters (yes you're dream of being a harem pimp can be realized).

• Recommended way to play is to simply play through the main story once however you want! (Try Mean difficulty as you'll get more white noise, there's an achievement requiring you to destroy about 500 white noise) Don't worry so much about completing everything such as report cards or getting every gift available right now. Just sit back and enjoy the story!

• After you have beaten the main story once. Go on and play through School Mode; where you will be completing everyone's report card. In your first playthrough of School Mode try to ignore the tasks from Monokuma and simply concentrate on making tools and level boosting items. Then after completing everyone's report card play through the school mode a few more times to see all School Mode endings.

Nine Coins, Nine Purses, Nine Bears
Collected 999 Monocoins

• Ways to get Monocoins:
  1st is obvious, simply inspect everything!
  You'll only get one each but it helps!
  
  The 2nd way is to complete school mode. If you somehow manage to build every monokuma replica on time in the 50 day limit, Monokuma will give you about 200 Monocoins!
  
  And lastly the admittedly easier way is to complete each class trial on Mean difficulty! (Difficulty as well as how well you do will determine how much points you get 10 points = 1 monocoin)

Collected 50 unique presents


Seriously, You Shouldn't Have
Collected every possible present/gift

• There are 114 presents/gifts in the whole game. Chances of getting a new present depends on both luck and how many coins you put into the machine at a time.
  
  You can get #1 - #92 from the MonoMono machine.
  #93 - #100 are given while playing through the story.
  Character endings in School Mode will give you #101 - #114.

School's Out For Summer
Cleared School Mode once


School's Out Forever
Saw every possible School Mode ending

• School mode will require some grinding as you'll need to play through it at least 4 times to get every character ending.

Skilling 'Em Softly
Cleared the 10 SP threshold

• Extremely easy, this will most likely be the second achievement you unlock!

Skill or Be Skilled
Cleared the 20 SP threshold

Ghostface Skillah
Cleared the 30 SP threshold

Hey, Big Spender
Enjoyed the exciting excitement of the MonoMono Machine 100 times

Rogue's Gallery
Unlocked all gallery items
You need to simply buy all the items in the following:

• Event Gallery: 375 Monocoins
  
• Movie Gallery: 136 Monocoins
  
• Artwork Galley: 255 Monocoins
  
• Sound Galley: 175 Monocoins

Total Monocoins Needed: 941

• There are 4 events that can be missed.
  
  The 1st event will require you to get "A Man's Fantasy" present (#91) from the Monomono Machine for this event to activate. You will need it before you meet 'AE' for the 1st time recommended to have it at the start of Chapter 3.
  
  In the 2nd and 3rd event choose to pursue Kyoko's lie . After using a truth bullet to break her contradiction, the trial will end as her being the "blackened". This will in turn make her take Makoto's place in the execution (only she won't be saved by 'AE'). Afterwards you will also get a picture of Makoto and the remaining classmates living their lives in Hope's Peak.
  
  And finally after having beaten the game, the present/gift "Escape button" will be added to the Monomono Machine. Simply grab the present to obtain an alternate ending where all 15 students escape.

Cleared a class trial without taking any damage

• Beware this achievement may be glitched as in you'll need to start a fresh save in order for it to unlock.

What's a Mistrial?
Cleared a class trial without having to retry a single time

• Beware this achievement may be glitched as in you'll need to start a fresh save in order for it to unlock.

The Color of Television
Destroy 100 white noise lines across all class trials

Tuned to a Dead Channel
Destroy 500 white noise lines across all class trials

Not From Concentrate
Cleared a class trial without using your Concentration skill a single time

• Beware this achievement may be glitched as in you'll need to start a fresh save in order for it to unlock.

What to look out for!

• What can I play to cure my danganronpa fix, Kurisuna-san?!
  
  Ever heard of the Zero Escape series? Think of it as a much more adult Danganronpa. Featuring amazing games such as 999 and Virtue's Last Reward. Danganronpa and the Zero Escape series shares many similarities. If you are a fan of extreme murder mysteries with extremely good puzzle mechanics and a noble prize worthy plot line spanning multiple games such as Virtue's Last Reward then you are in for a treat. You'll be bleeding your brains out and constantly visiting google to help you to solve these very well done puzzles and raging on the fourms saying how much the plot is so well done.

• This picture of the newest 3rd installment Zero Time Dilemma sets the tone of the series very well.
