Ranking The Sharks!
Por Allah Jackson
Hello All! I have been seeing plenty of support recently for Depth, and it truly warms my heart to see the game is getting the recognition it ever so deserves! In this "guide" more or less I will be ranking the sharks from #6-#1.

6. The Hammerhead
The Hammerhead, claimed by almost every pro, is the worst shark in the game against the higher skill levels. The reason being it's useless in most maps (check out Sinopia's guide on ranking every shark for each map for more info.) The Hammerhead needs plenty of straight, square rooms with big walls for it to be successful, and with it's medium thrash damage, it's relatively useless against pros, who counter it in every way possible. Hammerheads can still be played successfully, but it's advised to really only troll the noobs with them.
5. The Thresher
The Thresher shark is the smallest shark in the game, with the weakest thrash damage, but makes up for it with it's deadly tail. The thresher could be higher on this list if maps supported this living whip, but sadly for the Thresher most maps have big rooms and very open maps. The Thresher needs all divers to be bunched up for it to be successful, and sadly most divers split up, making the Thresher very useless in most maps and in the higher skill ranges.
4. The Mako
What?! How could the Mako, the speed demon, only be number 4? The Mako Shark is truly the best shark damage wise, but it's health is the only downfall for the Mako. It's relatively small, "fast as hell" and has a great special ability, granting itself bonus evolution points whenever a marked diver meets his/her demise. The Mako is also extremely difficult to play, most people claim he can just jump in and destroy the divers. While this is true, intelligent shark players will strategize and COMMUNICATE with his teammate, and Makos require extreme knowledge of maps and all the crooks and crannys. mostly Makos fit perfectly with tanks like Bulls or Great Whites. But unfortunately the Mako has really low health, and he sits at number 4.
3. The Great White
The king of the ocean, the terror of the deep, only number 3? Don't down rate my guide yet, fellow Depth player, for I will provide my reasons the mighty Great White is the midway shark. The Great White is, without a doubt the tank of Depth, with it's extremely high health, large stamina pool and slow speeds, and of course, extreme damage, it's literally an underwater tank. It's special ability also allows the Great White to deflect damage, starting at 30%. Everything seems perfect so far, but wait, there's more! The Great White is the slowest shark in the game, and it's huge size (around 30 feet and 10,000 pounds) slows this mean machine down immensely. It makes it very hard to escape as a Great White, with it's big body often getting in the way from it escaping narrow openings and small cracks. This is unfortunately the downfall of the mighty king of the ocean, leaving it at number 3.
2. The Bull
The Bull shark, the newest and certainly the baddest, almost nothing can stop this berserk from ripping your limbs off. The Bull shark has an anger problem, and nearby activity makes him real mad, this matches the real trait of Bull sharks high testosterone levels and being extremely territorial. The Bull shark has a high stamina pool, and is pretty fast, it's thrash damage however is nothing new. It's equal to a Hammerhead, but when it rages, you better run and try to hide. When the Bull rages, he becomes the strongest shark in the game, and gains health and stamina. Because of this, it is far superior to a Great White shark. However, the Bull's big size makes it an easy target for divers, and also makes it hard for the creature to escape easily. But the Bull shark rages enough to stay at the number 2 spot.
1. The Tiger
Many pros and even noobs agree the Tiger shark is the most balanced, and the best shark overall. It truly is the jack-of-all-trades, with it's almost OP camouflage ability, high thrash damage, and high speed. The only downfall the tiger has, is his stamina, it's around the lowest in the game. The Tiger is the only big shark that can easily escape. With great stamina use, and good understanding of maps and evolutions, you could very well cloak and thrash yourself to the top 10 someday (or if you're already there, cloak and thrash for your spot in the top 10.) The Tiger Shark is also really easy to use, because you don't really have to cloak to dominate in the early stages of your Depth career.

I don't plan on updating this guide, I don't actively play the game anymore. I literally haven't played the game in 4 months. Just consider this guide outdated and don't bother criticizing me.
