Please help me revive this awesome game mode!!

Full Description

This is a game mode similar to SSMB, and was created by Parakeet. Taking the setting of gm_flatgrass, you have the ability to choose from a range of seven classes (listed below). This game's has a default max of 24 players, but needs a min of 2 to start. The last one standing wins the round match, Typically each match lasts around two minutes, more or less, but may take longer due to some players who camp.

Goal:

This game mode is quite simple. Knock off the other players off the map and stay alive till the end. You can do this by punching, body slamming, blocking or standing on people. Typically you want their health to be red so it's similar to the instant death match as on super smash bros.

All Servers:

Controls (Default)

• F1: Help button.
  
• F2: Select a character.
  
• WASD: Move forward, left, backwards, right.
  
• R: Block.
  
• Ctrl: Crouch.
  
• Space bar: Launch/leap.
  
• Mouse 1: Left punch.
  
• Mouse 2: Right punch.

Voice chat is enabled during this game mode.

Traitor's Playground/THAB:

• Headbutt: Alt + walk.
  
• Kick: Shift.

• Space Captain Spudz Mackenzie: Orange astronaut.

Note: Each class has exactly equal stats. No class is higher in attack, health or speed.

THAB | Ragdoll Comact has a shop where you change your skin and use custom classes.

Basics

Health:

• Your health starts from green and drops to red when enough damage is taken. Red = danger and spectators will target those with red health more than someone with green.
  
  • There is no way to heal.

Health color in order from highest to lowest:
Lime Green - light green - Yellow green - yellow - orange yellow- red orange - red

• Red is 9/10 an instant kill.

Stamina

• The lighter colored in the health bar is your stamina. The lower the bar, the more easily it is to be pushed by a prop or knocked away from a player.
  
  • SUP server has a blue bar underneath your screen name.
• The stamina bar also allows you to jump distances. As the bar decreases, so does the distance you are able to jump.
  
  • Pressing space while crouching or blocking will shorten the distance you go.

Blocking

• To block, the default key is R. On the original servers like AE & SUP, blocking allows you to deflect your opponent and make them go flying 75% of the time. This can however, only be done if the opponent has little to no stamina.

Spectator

When not playing in game, a spectator is able to throw a prop, specifically a cinder block, at any player you wish. It's key to aim for people with low stamina to either knock them over or prop them off the map.

• To throw a prop simply left click your mouse.

Note:

• If you are AFK for a while, it will kick you into spectator mode. To simply exit press F2 and re-select a character. You will rejoin in the next round.
  
• Default cool down rate for props is about 30 seconds on servers.
  
• THAB has different props you can throw by using !shop. You can now holster 3 of the same props to throw at people.
  
• SUP has a rotation of different props; bucket, baby doll, fire extinguisher and the default cinder block. Props recharge after a 10 second cool down.

Teams

• Originally, this game is a free for all, but some players like to team up. This is only optional.

Alliances

Sometime in game, when two or more are of the same character, they won't attack. This doesn't go for everyone.

How do you establish an alliance?

• Convince others to join your team or promote your team by chanting in game.
  
• You and your friend(s) all become the same skin and overwhelm the opponents.

Enemies

Here and there, a specific character team will encounter enemies from the remaining teams.

Why you are being targeted?

• Chat & mic spamming.
  
• Camping in the corner of the map, and waiting till you are the last one alive.
  
  • THAB has a few maps where you can get into areas where it's difficult to kill players.
• Walking around, refusing to hit anyone.
  
  • This ia also known as being a pacifist.
• Trash talking to other players.
  
• Standing on others the entire round.

Rocket

Rocket:
When using ragcom_rocket, do keep in mind this is an instant death. Even if you land back on the platform, you will still die.

• DO NOT use after you have won the round or you will have a small chance of re-spawning the next round. If you do use this, remember to press F2 and re-select your character.
  
• On any THAB server hitting F4 will give you another chance at living, if you land back on the map. This however, can only be used once per game.

Issues/Glitches

Map Issue:

• When the max number of players is close to being full (or is full) a minority of the players will be instantly killed when they spawn in.
  
• Once in a while a random player will spawn outside the map.

*Spectator Issue:

• Sometimes a large ERROR will appear as your prop in spectator mode. SUP server only.
  
  • Refer to others below, for more clarification.

Player Model Glitch:

• Rarely will this glitch happen mainly with the melon senpai. The melon on its head will be missing. It has been reported that also other models may wear a melon head if they change between characters too quickly.
  • When hit by a prop in the head on THAB, the melon head will break upon impact.
• Mecha postal's eyes will appear as they are popping out when he walks.
  
  • Commonly found on AE server. This however, cannot be fixed by relogging.

Typing Glitch:

• If you type a lot there is a small chance the game will glitch you into the typing action restricting you from jumping, punching and blocking. To fix this just re-log (reconnect to the game).
  
  • Commonly found on the SUP servers

*Random bounce glitch:

• Only on THAB, when hitting space to lauch your character, sometimes you will recieve another bounce. This can't be fixed by relogging.
  
  • This is due to the no collide added to each ragdoll. Standing on top of others is now unavailable on this server.

Others:

If the glitch or issue isn't displayed above, just re-log. This commonly fixes things.

• If you see pink and black on objects, then you are missing the texture files. Common files needed for Garry's Mod; Counter Source Strike, Portal, and Half Life, and Team Fortress 2.

Q & A

How do I mute someone?
Hit Tab then click the small microphone. You should see a red / through the microphone indicating that person has been muted. To un-mute, simply just re-click. Only available on SUP server.

• Use !gag4me to mute a player on THAB.

Can the rocket kill someone?
Yes, but the chances are very slim. The opponent must be directly above you and must have very little to no stamina on red to be killed when the rocket is activated. They will most likely go flying with you.

Why am I not getting points for killing people?
You only receive a point every time you win the match. If you decide to leave the match, your points will be reverted back to 0.

What is the ms?
The ms is the ping of the server. Ideally the lower number the better. Those with more than 300 tend to lag a lot and might cause the server to lag as well.

Which prop is the strongest?
All of them. Each prop does the same amount of damage to a player. It appears to do more damage when a player is red and has little to no stamina left. This will then allow them to be shot off the map and killed.

• THAB has various props available, but in different sizes. Can be bought by points (100 points per 10 minutes)

Body slaming

• Pressing space will lauch yourself across the map. Holding R or ctrl will shorten the distance. If slammed into a player it will take away one colored heath bar.

THAB Map Change

• In the THAB server, there is an ability to change teh current map to a variety due to the command !votemap #.
