Heavens Gate

Description
In my new map I tried to create a landscape with a skyline which rivals the one of you city which you will build.
The map combines high terrain and large flat areas which are ideal to build a big city. And there are many locations with a great outlook into the landscape.

The map contains:
- interesting and challenging terrain
- possibility to build a big city
- is optimized for 25 tiles
- full potential of outgoing connections
- possibility to build several medium-sized dams
- all resources
- is playable without mods

To have a matching landscape, the map is an European on. But you could just use a building theme mod to have for example skyscrapers.

I spent countless hours drawing this map and so I really hope that you will enjoy playing it!
I am always open for suggestions for improvement! and if you like my map design please give me some feedback and a thumbs up ! :D

Thank you eauclaire, I didn't somebody would still play my very first maps :-) Actually I am thinking about makeing a new map in the next months ;-)

There's a use and need for the creations of every human, everyone will have their opinions but I personally love your maps! As do my viewers! I've actually been offline for over a week do to ISP difficulties. I'm looking forward to getting back online to play more on your map!

Oh wow I am really flattered ! :steamhappy: I was always hoping that some people might like my style of maps and will have a lot of fun playing them! I am have a few ideas for a new map since some time, but wasn't shure if I can spare the time to make it... so motivation is back again !:steamhappy:

@BlackFire I'm having a lot of fun building on your map. I'm currently doing a Live Lets Play with it on YouTube. I have your maps Workshop page linked in all my streams. I wasn't sure if it would be as simple as downloading a mod to allow more than 25 tiles or if the map had to be modified.

Hi Heathbar, thanks! and yes making such maps takes quite some time - but I wouldn't take the effort if it would not be a lot of fun :steamhappy:too ;-).
That do you mean exectly? Do you wanna play with more than 25 tiles?
You could also check out my later maps which mostly have a similar style :steamhappy:

Dude, this map is awesome! Thank you for all your hard work, it must have taken a long time to put together. I was just looking it over before a playthrough and I couldn't help notice all the detail/cool building areas that are outside of the buildable area(I have 25 tiles unlocked). Do you think it would ever be possible to make another version of this map with those areas playable?
