American Truck Simulator Mod-Webseiten sind keine offiziellen Angebote von SCS Software. Beachtet daher bitte das kein Support gewährt wird, wenn etwas mit den von euch herunter geladenen Mods nicht so funktioniert wie erwartet.

Mods können das Spielerlebnis negativ beeinflussen, wählt also mit Bedacht, welche Mods ihr installiert und aktiviert. In den meisten Fällen verändern die Mods aber das Spiel realitätsnaher z.B. mit orignal Beschriftung von Tankstellen und vielem mehr, die auf Grund von lizenzrechtlichen Problemen, ihren Weg nicht ins Spiel finden. Viele der Mods sind auf mehreren der Webseiten paralell zu finden.

Mods can adversely affect the gaming experience, so choose wisely which mods installed and activated it. In most cases, the mods change but the game as realistic with orignal labeling stations and much more which will not be found due to licensing issues, make their way into the game. Many of the mods can be found paralell on several of the websites.

ATS - Mods installieren

Die Mods benutzen normalerweise das ".scs" Datei Format, manchmal sind die Mod-Dateien als .zip oder .rar Archive gepackt. Dafür wird dann ein sogenannter Entpacker wie 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ oder WinRar http://www.winrar.de/ benötigt.

• Entpackt die .scs, .zip, .rar Archive. Wenn ihr die .SCS habt, kopiert sie nur.
  
• Kopiert die Mod-Dateien mit der Endung ".scs" in die unten aufgelisteten Verzeichnisse.
  
• Spiel starten, Mod-Manager aufrufen und die Mod zu den aktiven Mods hinzufügen.
  
• Spielstand fortsetzen

The mods usually use the ".scs" file format, sometimes the mod files are packaged in a .zip or .rar files. But then a so-called Extractor like 7zip http://www.7-zip.org/ or WinRar http://www.winrar.de/ is required.

• Unpack .scs, .zip, .rar archives. If you have the .scs, they just copied.
  
• Copies the mod files with the extension ".scs" in the listed below directories.
  
• Start the game, open Mod Manager and add the Mod to the active mods.
  
• Continue your Game

Ihr müsst eure persöhnliche "User Library" nutzen, nicht die "global" für alle User.

You must use your personal "User Library", not the "global" for all users.

Click on Finder, then click 'Go' on the top task bar, then press and hold down the 'Alt' key to expand that drop down menu which reveals 'Library'. Select Library/Application Support/American Truck Simulator. This is where the Mod folder is along with your saved screenshots and profiles.

American Truck Simulator - Wie aktiviere ich Mods / How do I activate mods

Startet den American Truck Simulator. Im Spiel klickt nun auf die Schaltfläche: "Mod-Manager", es öffnet sich eine Übersicht aller bisher installierten und aktiven Mods. Welche der Mods bereits aktiv geladen werden, sieht man in der rechten Spalte.

Start the American Truck Simulator. In the game click on the button: "Mod Manager", it opens an overview of all previously installed and active mods. Which of the mods are already actively loaded, you can see in the right column.

In der linken Spalte werden alle verfügbaren Mods, die zuvor in den Mods-Ordner kopiert worden sichtbar und können einzeln ausgewählt werden. Ein grüner Kreis bedeutet, diese Mod ist geladen und wird Aktiv im Spiel verwendet.

In the left column all available mods that have previously been copied into the mods folder become visible and can be selected individually. A green circle means this mod is loaded and active use in the game.

Das gleiche gilt für das deaktvieren und entfernen (löschen aus dem Mods Ordner) bereits aktiver Mods. Zu beachten ist folgendes: aktive Mods beeinflussen eure Savegames und könnten zu Problemen im Spiel führen, wenn sie einfach gelöscht oder deaktivert werden. Manche Mods können auch inkompatibel werden, mit einer später aktuelleren Spielversion von American Truck Simulator.

Tipp: Mods die euch besonders gut gefallen, lassen sich als Favoriten (Stern) markieren. Über die Auswahl: "Kategorie" lassen sich die Mods nach bestimmten Themen kategorisieren und sind so später leichter auffindbar. Die aktiven Mods lassen sich in der Reihenfolge, in der sie geladen werden, sortieren.

Tip: mods you particularly like, can be mark as favorites (rating). About the selection: " category " can the Mods categorize specific topics and are thus easier to find later. The active mods can be in the order in which they are loaded, sort.

Dieser Ordner ist bei mir leer. Eine andere Möglichkeit ist das deabonnieren der Mods im eigenen Account. Ich weiss aber den Pfad jetzt grad nicht mehr.

Im Spiel gibt es dafür keine Funktion. Die kannst du manuell aus dem entsprechenden Mod Ordner löschen. C:\ > Dokumente > Euro Truck Simulator 2 > mod > name.der.mod

Ich habe ein paar MODs deaktiviert die ich nicht mehr nutzen möchte. Nun möchte ich diese komplett aus meinem MOD Manager löschen. Wie geht das? Ich sehe nirgends einen lösch-Button.
