Introduction
Stigmat is your standard hardcore platformer...with a twist. Earlier levels change, or become more difficult on picking up a key. Later levels require you to survive challenges to obtain the key, after which you may immediately proceed to the next level. In all cases, you must obtain a key to unlock the exit. Each level only fills one screen, so the challenges aren't really that hard. However, the controls are very fidgety. For example, trying to move a very short distance may cause you to be impaled on a spike - rather than prepare you for an easier jump. Double-Jump is acquired on Level 2 (in fact, it's required to complete Level 2...)

I recommend playing fullscreen, and with a gamepad or equivalent setup.
This guide does not cover collecting 100% of the coins in the game.
Level 1
Your first challenge will commence on picking up that key. The proverbial rug will be pulled out from beneath you... Aim your jump to the far right of the key's platform so you'll fall onto a flat surface instead of the spike pit.
Level 2
Hop over the first spike on the left, then pause and jump over the next four and immediately drop down the shaft with the red blob. Use your double-jump to backtrack.
Avoid the spikes near the top of the room by hopping under or over them while they are furthest, or are moving to their furthest away from you. In other words, hop over a spikeball when it's close to the ground, and hop under a spikeball when it's closest to the ceiling. Be mindful of the horizontally-moving spikeball below. Time your jump to avoid falling on it. Many moves you make in this game are like using a "jump-rope". Proceed to the unlocked exit and press "Up" to enter the next level.
Level 3
This level requires a lot of practice. First, slide yourself horizontally into the first blob. Do not hop over the edge to reach it. Just press your button to move to the right. After bouncing on the first white blob, immediately double-jump to vault over the first spikewall. Repeat with the next two white blobs. The key will fall into your path when you descend through the gap.
A horizontally-moving spikeball will appear. You must move to the door on the left while simultaneously avoiding the spikeball and the spikes on the ceiling above. To succeed here, you will need to pause at intervals between each spike. Move to the nearest interval when the spikeball has already passed you and is moving away. Stay in that interval and hop when the spikeball approaches.
Level 4
If you act fast, this level is very easy. First, double-jump to the first pillar on the left side of the spike. Then jump to the right side of the spike on the next pillar. Wait for projectiles to pass, then grab the key and head back.
What may not surprise you is the challenge that immediately appears. A ball orbits in a fixed pattern in the room. Time your jumps to land on a pillar just after the ball has passed. The left side of the right-hand pillar is a safe spot. You can rest here safely. Now hop to the right and trigger the rock trap at the door. Immediately, move to the edge of that (left) to avoid being hit. Proceed to the REAL door on your left, using the tips provided above.
Level 5
Proceed to pick up the key by moving to the right while single-jumping.
Turn back and double jump over the spiked pillars, always aiming toward the left. Simply slide to the left over the last spike to descend. Now hop over the first four spikes with a light tap, as the spikes above you ascend. Jump over the 5th spike, then jump again to avoid imminent danger. To reach the door, hop up to the white blobs and lean toward the left - avoiding the ceiling spike. Jump again just before you start to fall, and you'll be high enough up to fall onto the door's platform.
Level 6
Double-jump from the middle platform to reach the key. Pay attention to the rotating trap in the floor.
Using the middle platform as a return-route is advised. Nothing changes after obtaining the key...except the light level.
Level 7
This is probably one of the most frustrating levels, and I suggest entering the secret room to bypass the end of this level.
Grab the key and run to the left. Jump as the pink projectile comes up behind you, and - in the same motion - fall below to the next level. You may need to use your second jump to correct your fall so you don't land on a projectile. While here, just jump when a projectile catches up to you and will hit you from behind. Rest between each of the 3 spikes on your right, jumping to avoid projectiles. Fall to the bottom floor and walk through the false spikes on your right to enter the secret room and bypass the rest of level 7.
Level 7.5
Congrats, you get free coins! Move to the right to reach the exit.
Level 8
This level looks harder than it is. Stay on the middle platform for simplicity. Simply avoid the barrage of falling spikes, and wait for the key to be lowered. Jump or double-jump to grab the key when there's no spikes just above. Beware, some spikes move faster than others.
Level 9
Grab the key on the left, then proceed to the exit. From the top right of the map, be sure to jump over the first horizontally-pointed laser, but use your second jump to jump straight up and fall sideways (to the left) to avoid the next-lowest laser. Despite the gaps left between you and the exit, you only need single-jumps. Jump lightly, as the laser doesn't rise very high above you, and you can hit your head if you hold the jump button too long.
Level 10 (no pic avail)
Sadly I don't have a shot of this level, but there's nothing here you haven't seen already. Be careful of the projectiles right near the door. You are required to jump toward a source of projectiles. Jump upward when the projectile will have just passed beneath you.
Level 11
You must gun down 100 eyeballs in this level. Hold down the "fire" button to make this level easier. Give yourself a buffer zone of about 3 eyeballs tall to avoid being hit. Eyeballs may pass by you without incurring a penalty, but you must restart on any hit. Avoid the top and bottom of this map, as they are rigged with traps. Stay in the middle.
Level 12
Jump one pillar at-a-time toward the left. Ignore the white blobs - you won't need to bounce off them to complete this level. To avoid being hit by spikes from above, I suggest standing at the very edge of a pillar between jumps. Spikes fall toward the very middle of each pillar, leaving you unharmed. Use the same strategy on return. Only difference on return is the (increased) speed at which spikes fall.
Level 13
Use light taps to traverse the room full of spikes.
Level 14
Jump back and forth between pressure plates on your left and right to lower the key. Use your double-jump to avoid lasers sweeping horizontally. The door is a safe zone.
Level 15
The first part of this level is a bit tricky. Jump BEFORE you reach the edge of the first platform and onto the white blob. If you try to hop directly onto the blob, you will bounce straight up into the spike. Down below, get as close as you can to the spike near the key and jump up to grab it.
To traverse the gap, you will need to double-jump at first. However, wait until you are low enough in the air to complete the second jump - otherwise, you'll bump your head onto the laser. Lean to the left when you hit the white blob near the door.
Level 16
In this level, you will need to trigger the traps like you did in Level 4. You will need to double-jump over the spike barrage on the right-hand side of the room.
Stigmat Boss Fight
This fight is short and easy. Just run to the right while avoiding 2 spike barrages and 3 laser shots from the boss. Spikes on the floor will obviously need to be jumped over. You will need to double-jump over (yes, OVER) both the horizontal and vertical spike barrages. The first barrage will sweep from right to left. Jump over the first two projectiles, and let the 3rd pass over your head. A spike barrage from above will immediately follow. Once the projectiles move toward the ground, double-jump and the danger will have passed below by the time you hit the ground again. Eventually, you will run out of floor spikes to hop over. The finale of this fight is fought on flat ground and you will need to single-jump over the yellow laser 3 times each just seconds after the boss has an exclamation point (!) underneath him.

For level 8 there's an even easier way to beat it. Just perform a double jump immediately after respawning and you'll get the key (it is right above of you).

So i tried level8 a million of times. The pattern of the spike is completely random. and every*******time they fall the way iam trapped and have no chance to move.

Well they removed the double jump achievement but there's a hidden wall on level one that gives you double jump once you collect the powerup. The wall is on the bottom right. Maybe that had something to do with it? Which makes me wonder why the devs took down the double jump achievement, and also why you still automatically get double jump on level two, whether or not you collect the power up

@Crypt Warden
I hoped it was that easy, but it doesn't work for me

Interesting! Looks like an achievement has been added since I last played. If double jump is still obtained on Level 2, that should do it

How do I get the Jump, dude! achievement?
