Introduction

Welcome to the achievement guide for Bloody Good Time!

The purpose of this guide is to give a clear and concise overview of the requirements for earning all 12 achievements in the game and reaching that perfect 100% completion.

Bloody Good Time is a comedy multiplayer FPS with a completely dead online playerbase. Don't let that stop you, however, because all achievements can be earned in single player by playing against bots. It should take about 6-8 hours on average to complete the game 100%.

The achievements are pretty straightforward and not especially difficult. Even the grinding part doesn't take too much time. Overall, a fun short game if you're up for some absurd first-person mayhem.

With all that out of the way, let's begin!

Achievements

First Blood
Commit your first murder


Earned by killing another player in any game mode.


Award Winning Scene
Commit a perfect murder (boast, 5 star kill, humiliate)


Simple enough. You first need to use boast (Hunt Mode only), then score a 5-star kill (either with a 5-star weapon or trap), and finally humiliate the body. Note that weapon ratings aren't fixed (the star values get randomized after each round in Hunt Mode, and after enough kills in Deathmatch.)





Rising Star
Earn 200 Stars in your career


Superstar
Earn 2000 Stars in your career



Stars are mainly earned by murdering other players. You get more stars for kills made with higher-rated weapons, as well as bonus stars if you used boasting before the kill and/or humiliation after the kill. Once you get the hang of the game, it's easy to rack up 100+ stars in a single 15-minute deathmatch.


Director's Darling
Win a match on each level


Earned by completing and winning a match on each of the three maps in the game (Horror House, Spring Break and Vegas).







Character Actor
Finish a match as each character


Earned by completing a match as each of the eight characters in the game. The characters are identical in terms of gameplay and all of them are available right from the start.






Screen Legend
Win a match without being killed


Not that difficult to pull off. Pick the map you are most familiar with and play against a single easy AI bot. Some tips:

• I suggest using the Hunt (short) game mode for only 6 rounds instead of 12.
  
• Bots rarely attack you near guards, so use that to your advantage.
  
• Bots are also completely fooled by disguises, so use them whenever possible.

The Great Escapist
Escape from Security with a 10 Star fine


Security guards will chase you if they witness you attacking other players or having your weapon drawn. If you kill a player in sight of a guard, you are given a fine equal to the stars earned for the kill (if you kill an enemy with a 3-star weapon, the fine will be 3 stars, etc). If security catches you, that amount will be subtracted from your score, essentially negating the value of the kill.


To earn the achievement, you need to kill multiple enemies to increase your fine without getting killed or caught in the process. The easiest way would obviously be to use a 5-star weapon and kill two enemies (or the same enemy twice) for a 10-star fine. Then either find and use a disguise or run away from the guards until the fine expires. The achievement will pop either way.

This achievement isn't too difficult. Just play a deathmatch against easy AI bots on any map, make sure you're rested so you can keep running, and start killing enemies in sight of security. You can outrun the guards, who even show up on your minimap, making them very easy to avoid. If possible, try to reach the nearest disguise (coathanger icon) to instantly shake the guards.

Scenes

Scenes simply mean rounds in non-deathmatch game modes. For the following achievements, I suggest you play the Hunt Mode against a single easy AI opponent. You might also want to reduce the round length to only two minutes.





V for Vindictive
During a Hunt or Elimination scene, kill your Hunter 3 times in a single round


Hunt scenes are the main rounds in Hunt Mode. Each player is assigned single target who will be marked on the map. In games with many players, everyone is unaware of the identity of their hunter, but with only two players, both will obviously be hunting each other. For the achievement, you need to kill the player hunting you 3 times without dying (otherwise the round ends).


Hogging the Limelight
During a Scene Stealer scene, hold onto the statue for 60 seconds without being killed


The Scene Stealer round happens only once per match, often near the very end. There will be a single statue marked on minimap for players to pick up. While holding the statue, you cannot use any weapons, traps or items. You need to run away and hide from the enemies for a full minute. Not as hard as it might sound. It's usually easy to trick the AI into chasing you around in a circle.


Last Moment Upset
During an Infected scene, pass on your infection in the final 5 seconds and end the round clean

The Infected round randomly happens once per match. Half the players start the round as Infected. While infected, you will constantly lose stars. You can pass the infection by simply touching any uninfected player. The AI usually just stands around when not infected, so wait near the bot until the timer ticks down and pass on the infection at the last moment.


Untouchable
During a Hunt the Leader scene, survive the whole round as the Leader without being killed

The Hunt the Leader round happens only once per match. One player is randomly made the Leader at the start of the round. If you're lucky enough to be made the Leader, survive for the entire duration of the round for the achievement. Unlike Scene Stealer, you can still use weapons to defend yourself, so it shouldn't be too difficult, especially against a single opponent.

Hey man thank you for your guide! If anyone else is goig for this game, gven that it runs on source, you can also use some commands to cheese some of the trickier achievements, just enable the developer console and use commands.

I used "sv_cheats 1; buddha; sv_cheats 0" to get infinite health and "sv_cheats 1; noclip; sv_cheats 0" to fly around and grind star points, cheers!

the infected or scene stealer scene never pops up for me. Always playing Hunt (short) and i just get the basic mode

nice guide!
I found the easiest one for Screen Legend is to pick the house map (one the left choice)
and camp on the top side of the map where there's a DJ table and just camp there the whole game, because AI will come from 3 doors that you can see clearly, just turn on the trap and you are all set, nearby there is food, sleep, and toilet station to replenish.
I did it on short Hunt, easy AI and 2 mins time
