Mine are bit simple, just when to "Local disk > User > Admin > Appdata > Roaming > Exanima
* (Remember this area, will need to come back later, and let's called the "Main Save")
Then Copy:
Arena001.rgs
Exanima.Set (Not sure this one is needed but copy anyway)
Then paste it into your "New Folder" from your Desktop (Let's call the New Folder > "Slot 1")
After that, let's say you lost or killed at the arena and you wish to go back. Exit back to the "Menu", Alt-tab to the desktop.
Now copy those two files again in your "Slot 1" then paste it at the "Main save" and replace it, and Voila, you're not dead, ready to go again.
Honestly, I recommend anyone new to this game, to save scum. The fighting system takes practice, and having to start completely from scratch every time you slightly mess up and/or otherwise get murdered/trapped, isn't all that fun. A "Hardcore" mode probably should have been optional for this kind of game, while having the normal game be "savepoint only" saving, so you're forced to beat long'ish sections at a time before you can save, to prevent save abuse.
