Mod launcher: Mods don't appear.

This is just a fix I found to solve the whole "Mods won't appear on the left side of the mod launcher screen" issue that's plagued me for weeks.

Issue!

These are some steps to hopefully fixing the issue where mods will not show up in the mod launcher. For example if I subscribed to Synergies mod then click play on TL2, click play with mods, and then the mod space where they should be is blank. Meaning it won't "see" or show the mods in the mod launcher list. There are also no folders of the mods in the game files.

This guide fixes that issue.

Hopefully anyway as it did for me!

Now, I am not good at making guides since this is my first. I've done my best googling this issue but have never found a fix for it, after ages of googling I decided to try something and it worked! For me anyway.

Step 1 into the horrid process. (Optional)

Make a collection! It can be public or private or whatever you want. I personally made one just so I could keep my mods organized.

I was subbed to 155 mods. But I liked to switch between characters with different mods.

Plus I have an addiction....

But having a collection helps you keep a bit more organized. or just favorite all the mods.... But that feels more painful to do.

Step 2 of the process of fixing things!

Unsubscribe from every single mod!

I also went into the mod folders and deleted all the mods in that folder aswell.

Having a colection makes this so much easier to do in my opinion.

The collection also helped me discover 4 mods that were removed by authers or ghosts! One beig my favorite mod :c

*holds the mod's dead rotting corpse in my hands and whispers* shh it's okay...

Step 3! Get it up again! (possibly optional?)

This is something I did myself i'm not sure if it's really a factor and helps or not but always nice to be safe I guess? That's what my teacher's told me anyway.

Start the game normally! Vanilla as can be no mods active or subscribed at all! I personally played one of my vanilla characters for about a minute before exiting out the game just to be sure it gets nice and clean.

Step h! Go nuts! Everyone loves nuts!

Subscribe to the mods you "KNOW" you'll use the most. For me it's synergies.

And then run the game, let the mods update and download. Then click the play with mods thing and there "should" be mods finally listed on the left side!

After that you're obviously free to then continue adding more mods and loading teh gaem to see if they load on the modlauncher.

If everything breaks then repeat the process!
