Introduction

This guide isn't to suggest different types of DarkRP, it's to tell you why they're terrible.

With our stars Another lenny and some stupid twitter meme, inbetween them more than 20 years of DarkRP experience, we will bust the myth that DarkRP is good.

MethRP

Basically, DarkRP on Evocity.
It's the bastard child of liteRP and DarkRP, with amalgamations of the worst parts of each inbetween.

Police have a radio which doesn't fix the godawful system, and criminals get to make meth instead of printing money.
IT'S
TERRIBLE.

The Purge

Creative for DarkRP, standard everywhere else, for 45 minutes you get peace and quiet. AND THEN THE PURGE STARTS.
GUN STORES CLOSE.
BASES HAVE BARRELS POINTING OUT OF THEM.
HOBOS HIDE IN TRASH CANS.
Because you can RDM anyone on the server for 15 minutes. Unlike the actual purge, this doesn't fix the problem of mass murder.

SlaveRP

A DarkRP set in the pre-Civil War south.
Everything is essentially a reskin.
You got your Plantation owner, who's the mayor.
You got your Plantation guard, who's the CP.
You got your slaves, who're the civillians.
You got your bounty hunter, who is the obvious.
You got your north extremists, who are the gangsters.

I honestly think the biggest problem is that, if you're a Plantation guard or owner, you CAN NOT BE RACIST. This is absolutely cancerous as you're trying to emulate the South without having the one thing that kept slavery going in the first place, RACISM.

PrisonRP

It's the same thing as DarkRP with a prison map. Prisoners have the abillity to escape, but because there's no guards it doesn't matter if they do or don't. There's autistic bases everywhere and if you escape all you do is PRINT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MONEY.

Same DarkRP with a different map and content.

SCP-RP

Now, this is a little bit different. By 'a little bit', I mean by the margin ass hair grows. It's not a total copy paste of DarkRP, however. Instead, it's a complete and utter copypaste of the Secure, Contain, and Protect wiki. The policing in SCP RP is notably broken as police do not have battering rams to take down moneyprinting civvies, so they have to wait for HOTPOCKET HUFFER'S HOTPOCKET HUFFERS to help them bust down the fading door..


Lenny Notes #5: Fun fact: SCP players cant get out of their room even when their door is open becaus it will apparently trigger a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BREACH WHICH SCP CAN KILL EVERYONE TILL IT GOT CONTAINED fun fact: most of the servers wants you to be 69 lvl or be a elite vip owner to become a SCP

MilitaryRP

This gamemode is just Counter-Strike with the label "MilitaryRP" on it. When you join, you get to take 5 steps in any direction before an ISIS terrorist will kill you with his guns. Spawn campers are rampant.

ZombieRP

DarkRP, except there's zombies everywhere! OOOOO!
The zombies are the awful HL2 ones that move slow as a turtle and are easy to mow down because DarkRP guns are overpowered.
Sometimes, a boss spawns and is either ignored or taken down in 5 minutes.

A note from Another Lenny:The main thing why there is zombies in zombieRP Its not becaus It has a zombie in Title thats becaus everyone gets a over powered gun and farms zombies like farming minions in dota 2.

SchoolRP

DarkRP, except set in a school!
For whatever reason, every single kid on campus has a gun and it's not regulated in the slightest. Sometimes, someone hosts a class which is incredibly boring talk about magic/printing for 5 minutes until someone kills the teacher and we all get on with our meaningless lives.

HogwartsRP

HogwartsRP mineaswell be called "magical deathmatch", because that's what it is. Ironically enough, HogwartsRP would be REALLY DAMN FUN if it were just magical deathmatch, but they chose to ♥♥♥♥ it up with a heaping helping of DarkRP.
