How to install BlitzKrieg Mod (Outdated)

Having trouble installing the mod? Look no further!

1.Download links

Official BlitzKrieg Mod site[forum.bkmod.net]

First things first

You have to actually have the mod, eh?
Well, let's get to it!
Download these (in order):
1) The ''core'' of the mod[drive.google.com]
2) The ''latest'' version (Patch) [drive.google.com]
3) Mappack (Custom maps) [drive.google.com]
Alright, now that you have them, put them on desktop and head to section number 2!

2. Installation

Now comes the tricky part. But fear not! That's what I'm here for!
Open(install) in order:
1)Install the ''core'' of the mod first. I suggest when you are installing it to set a desktop shortcut
2)Install the ''patch'' second.
3)And finally, install the Mappack.

Now when you launch it, you should see this:

Alright! The mod is set up and good to go! should be,worked for me
Before you can play though, you need to do some stuff first.

The very last steps:

• Go to your Steam Library
  
• Right click Company of Heroes (New Steam Version)
  
• Select ''Properties''
  
• Click ''Set launch options''

Once you are there, you need to write THESE things MAKE SURE YOU WRITE THEM ALL SEPARATELY :

• -dev
  
• -nonmovies
  
• -BlitzKrieg

What I meant by separately is that each time you open it again, the last one stays there, for example you type -dev first, then you re-open it and the -dev is there. MAKE SURE YOU DELETE IT AND PUT THE NEXT ONE.

Alright, everything should be ready and good to go!
To play CoH with Blitzkrieg Mod, you need to launch the Blitzkrieg Mod (from the desktop shortcut.)
If you want to play normal CoH just launch it normally trough Steam.

Can't play Multiplayer with friends?

This actually happened to me when I tried to play MP with my friend, the problem was I had ANOTHER mod that he didn't have, so make sure you BOTH have the same mods.

Apparently there is even easier way to set it up so you launch the mod DIRECTLY by playing Company Of Heroes (New Steam Version),

Thanks for pointing it out, but if you do this you cannot play the normal CoH until you remove
the -mod BlitzKrieg.Indeed it is easier to launch it like this without launching through the launcher,That's a lot of launchers in therebut it is personal prefference at this point. Also if you do it the way I said you can play Blitzkrieg Mod and Normal version of the game without having to reset the -mod Blitzkrieg everytime you want to play Normal.

I suppose the title is misleading. Old meaning that it is the guide itself is outdated, as the mod is now officially on steam.

i already check their forum and their moddb, lowest update version is 5.0.0
i not found any official downloadable 4.9.x upward before 5.0.0

No, I just checked. If they are not on their official page, I'm afraid this is the only solution. Maybe they have some sort of archive.

BK devs also delete the files from their official site, so i will never go back to 4.9.x, etc

@HALOCDMBOY and everyone else experiencing this: Disable the HD Infantry textures, they look great but cause a lot of trouble. If it still doesnt work, disable the HD Ground textures aswell
