Stuck after exiting an elevator with nowhere to go?

So you're stuck?

First of all, make sure you're at the location shown below before you go skipping 5 levels. This is the only part of the game that has this issue, if it's anywhere else and you're stuck. You're not looking hard enough.


Second, make sure you've enabled the console. Go to Options -> Keyboard -> Advanced and tick the box that reads "Enable developer console".


Next make your way to the closed drain hatch that should be open but isn't.


Now open the console by pressing ` on your keyboard. Not sure if this is ~ instead for those in the US. Now, type in "changelevel2 wc_08" in the console without the quotes. It's very important to use changelevel2 instead of just changelevel or map as changelevel2 is used to transition the player from the exact location they're standing to the next map as well as any items they where carrying.

If done correctly, you should now see the drain hatch infront of you is open as shown below.


Hope this guide helps people finish the game. There's not much more to go after you pass this section. Hopefully, this guide won't be needed after the next update as the issue should be addressed.

Hey so uhh, when I try to run the game in a window so the top my screen doesn't flicker. But when I resize it to 900 the cross hair is way off of where it's supposed to be, how do I fix this?

The lighting on the first map is jacked up

i make a lot of errors when im typing. sorry if it's hard to read

@peob try turn on developer mode in advanced keyboard settings and type down sv_cheats 1. after that, go into noclip. then, noclip out pf bounds near the place where you are gonna be teleported, fly to a black box out of bounds. if it's not there, then that's why that's happening
