Introduction
The $100k ($100,000) Achievement on the Cryptark Ship can be quite a challenge. I struggled to develop a good loadout as I haven't used many of the weapons. The stronger and more expensive weapons are not as viable as they take up too much of your money.

I tested out some of my favorite weapons (Frag Gun, Assault Shotgun,Heavy Machinegun - Burst) with $100k to spend on the Cryptark Ship and I think I found the best weapon for the job.

The Chaingun seemed to perform the best on firepower, ammo usage, and cost.

I also chose Salamander. The Flamethrower and the Saw melee attack are great starting items as well as its fire speed boost which damages enemies.

Now, you may be wondering about the choices I've made in my loadout so I'll explain.

The 5 Health Bars might worry you. This setup could be tweaked to have a bit more health and slightly less ammo, but it worked well enough for me. Also, with 2,000 bullets I still had to restock twice while on the Cryptark.

Only having one weapon does become apparent when you get into situations where another weapon would be more appropriate, however, the Chaingun is very capable in most situations.

The QAMMO item is expensive but it helps a lot when there are Armoring Systems active AND when they are down.

The SENSR item is relatively cheap and really helps illuminate areas you've been and allows you to more easily find paths.
Strategy
I'm not sure if the Cryptark varies in which systems and how many it has. When I beat the Cryptark with $100k it only had 1 Armoring system, but I thought it had 2 on a different playthrough. I can say that on one of my retries a Shield Generator System was protecting the Armoring System when it had not the previous times.

The good part about doing this Achievement is that you get many tries to do it so long as you have money. Here is a screenshot of my win.

Although a lot of the failures were from me testing out different weapons, it was my last try. So don't give up until you're out of money.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, my general strategy was to take out the Repair Systems quickly and safely. I found that when multiple Repair Systems exist it can be very beneficial to "distract" them by having them repair a redundant system while you destroy them.

Your Cryptark Ship setup will be different from mine. I had a Sentry, Armoring, and a Sensor Jamming System on the way to the Repair Systems. The Repair Systems seem to repair systems in the order of when they are destroyed, or they at least have to finish the first system before moving on, so use that to your advantage. I destroyed a Sentry System first as it getting repaired quickly was redundant. Then I destroyed Armoring and the Sensor Jamming System which made for easier enemies and gave my mapping back.

Then I destroyed the Repair Systems quickly.

You may get lucky and have the Nuclear Defense System close to a Repair System, if not you'll just have to dodge the blasts (the SENSR helps with finding escape paths).

The next system I would target is the Nuclear Defense System.

If there was a Failsafe System I would have dealt with it early on.

Alarm Systems should be taken down if they would be triggered by attacking a System.

There were enough keys scattered about that destroying the Door-Lock System was a low priority.

I think my Cryptark Ship only had Juggernaut Factories (not a problem for the Chaingun) which I left alone. If there were Drone Factories I would have dealt with them next. Sentry Systems are just as much of a problem. It should be left to your discretion whether you think you can take out the entire Sentry System without dying or using too much ammo or health in the process.

Then of course you have to take down the Shield Generator Systems and the 2 Central Cores.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need to resupply your ammo once or twice and will most likely have to use 2 or 3 of the Health resupplies. MAKE GOOD USE OF THEM.

You should also make the effort in the previous ships to collect all or as many of the Tech Upgrades as possible.

Using this strategy and loadout will not automatically make it "easy". You will still have to play very well and be mindful of your ammo count and Juggernauts, etc.

highly recommend the jennet suit. no need for the extra weapon slots, the qammo helps both for combat and making the most of ammunition, and the remote nukes are perfect for dealing with the repair systems.

otherwise, i'd recommend bringing lots of health packs and choosing a close-quarters/crowd control weapon and a weapon with high burst damage; personally, i used the trench gun and a thermal lance (since it has basically infinite ammo).

WEEVIL is best choise for that. Railgun x 2 x 40 rounds, 5$ health and 5$ teleporter.

I used an assault shotgun, healthpacks, lures, cloaking and ion-field. Character was the civ. suit.

Salamander is definitely the ideal choice though. I did my 100k Cryptark run with Salamander + 3x shotguns + 1 shield + sensors + 2x 5-fix

I do prefer shotgun stacking over chaingun stacking, because of the ability to 2-shot systems and kill almost any enemy in 1-2 shots.

Chaingun should be split into 4x chainguns with 500 ammo each, or 3x chainguns + 1 shield. Gun stacking on 1 attack button increases your raw damage output without losing cost effectiveness.
