Welcome
Thank you for taking the time to check out my guide. This guide is intended to help players who are struggling with completing any of the tournaments or having trouble successfully getting the "All belts, no knockdown" achievement.

Please rate this guide up if it successfully helped you get the achievement!
Introduction
The strategy we're going to use today requires a little bit of patience, active listening (or observing), and that your stats are not significantly lower than your opponent's. Some guides will recommend that you do not fight an opponent that has higher stats than your character, but in this guide I will show you that as long as the stat gap is not too wide, you can get through the fight without getting knocked down a single time.

For this demonstration, Tito Boy is going to be fighting the first opponent in the Boxing Legends (gold belt) tournament, Itsuki Yasuda, with all of his stats lower than Itsuki's.

Step One: Wear Down Stamina
"Who do you think I am, Manny Pacquiao?"
- Tito Boy

All of the computer opponents you face in Real Boxing will have a tendency to try and unload a series of heavy hits on your character, draining their stamina fairly quickly with hooks and uppercuts. By playing defensively, you can render these damaging blows ineffective.

At the start of the round, take a step away from your opponent to get out of range and bring your guard up by holding down the spacebar. This guard will minimize the damage you receive and keep your own stamina up while whittling down your opponent's stamina.

When an opponent's stamina is low:
  • Their punches are weaker.
  • Their punches are slower (and easier to dodge and counter).
  • They are more vulnerable in trades where both fighters are punching.

In this match, Tito Boy spent the first few seconds of the round keeping his guard up and closing the distance between him and his opponent. It is important to stay within striking distance or your opponent will not try to attack you and his stamina will regenerate.

Step Two: Counter Punching
"He reached out and tried to punch me. So when he was pulling his hand back, I punched him too."
- Tito Boy

So now that you've brought down the opponent's stamina, their punches are no longer as damaging and they're slower. What next?

You can punish opponents in two ways in Real Boxing. You can try to time your dodges to initate the slow-motion for a chance at triple damage, or you can do it like Tito Boy and listen to the sound of the opponent's glove hitting his glove. The latter is probably the safer way if you are attempting to get the achievement, since opponents can dodge your counter and try to land a counter of their own.

While your guard is up, wait for your opponent to land their punch. If you release your guard too early, you will take the regular amount of damage from the hit. As soon as you see or hear the moment of impact, retaliate with the punch of your choice. Tito Boy retaliates with left and right hooks, but limits to only one hook per retaliation. This reduces the chances of the opponent dodging repeated counter punches.

If done correctly, your patience should pay off resulting in your opponent bringing his guard up to wait for an opportunity to counter or clinch.

Step Three: Knock 'Em Down
"...Is this thing on? Hello?..."
- Tito Boy

At this point, your opponent is waiting for a chance to come back with a well timed dodge and counter punch or trying their best to get a clinch in for a health bonus.

Honestly?

There's really not much to say here but to finish the job and not lose sight of your goal. Your goal is not to KO your opponent but to defeat them without getting knocked down.

Tito Boy takes advantage of the speed of his jabs to get quick damage in until his opponent can no longer stay standing.

The Reward
"I always come out of the ring looking better than the other guy."
- Tito Boy

Whether it takes one round or all three rounds, if you followed all of the steps correctly you will leave the ring with another victory. The proof will be on the face of your opponent and in the judges' scorecards.

Just rinse and repeat until you've come out victorious in all three tournaments.
