Introduction
This is the Plants vs Zombies Adventure Mode Guide. It is full of good tips that will help you as you play through the adventure mode. Now, let's be honest, the adventure mode is relatively easy. There are fifty levels to complete but you will probably be able to do them with out too much trouble. In the following sections you will find tips for playing the day levels, the night levels, the pool levels, the fog levels and the roof levels.
Day
- Everything you do in these levels are really easy. The levels are mainly there to invite you to the game and to teach you how to play it.

- Have at least three sunflowers.

- At least one peashooter in each lane for the first part of a level and then around two depending on what toughness of zombies come where.

- Use a walnut to block more powerful zombies if you don't have many or if you have no peashooters. Use the walnut to hold them off while a peashooter hits the zombie and/or while you save up your sun for another peashooter.
Night
- You will no longer get anymore free sun from the sky. Make sure you have a good source of sun. For example Sunshrooms or Sunflowers. I recommend at least four of them but I usually use six, one for each lane.

- Use the free mushrooms, Puff-Shrooms and Sea-Shrooms to your advantage (as in plant heaps of them instead of wasting valuable sun on other expensive plants).

- Use the free mushrooms first before possibly digging them up and replacing them with more powerful plants.

- Plant something that will give you sun first before planting anything else.
Pool
- Start of with sun producing plants as usual. Four to six Sunflowers should do the job well.

- Don't worry about the defending the pool to early on in the game as zombies usually ignore that area near the beginning of the level.

- Make sure you have Lily Pads.

- Spikeweeds are good for getting early damage on zombies and for popping Zomboni's tires.

- Don't use mushrooms unless you have Coffee Beans and a really good plan.

- Beware of zombies that rise from the middle of the pool. Maybe have Lily Pads with Wall-Nuts on the pm to defend zombies that do this.

- Pool Cleaners are a good idea (available from Crazy Dave's shop) for the odd zombie that your plants don't get.
Fog
- Combine the tips from the night stage and the pool stage.

- No more free sun either. Make sure to have at least four sun producing plants (six is probably the best amount).

- Remember the Lily Pads.

- Remember you can still plant in the fog even if you can't see in there.

- Planterns can be used to see through the fog but remember to protect them with Wall-Nuts or Tall-Nuts.

- Use Blovers rarely. They are expensive (one hundred sun) and only remove the fog for a short amount of time. They also blow away Balloon Zombies so if they are getting to close and you have no Cacti, you should use the Blover.

- If there are Balloon Zombies in a level, make sure to have a Cactus in every lane or one available to be put in a lane, in case they come.
Roof
- Only use Peashooters, Snow Peas and Repeaters if the are on top of the roof slop otherwise they won't shoot very far.

- Do not use mushrooms that shoot as they are very costly (a coffee bean for each one) and ineffective.

- Have Roof Cleaners in case the odd zombie gets past.

- Have a good amount of catapult plants.

- Magnet-Shrooms are a good idea for harder levels. Remember to wake them up with a coffee bean.

- Make sure to have Flower Pots with you on most roof levels as you can not plant directly on the roof.
