"Custom skin, 'Aperture-themed' skin, matte. So was I able to get rid of those fingerprint magnets (the piano black glossy surface portions of the controller)."

Is there any way you could send me the images needed to create this, i'm also making an aperture-themed steam controller skin for myself, and I just can't top this design.
:steamhappy:

Shoot. Also, Valve's design is really bad, especially considering the fact they put a few dots on a white wallpaper, put Atlas's eye on the back, and call it good. Now this...This is fitting.

I did not notice it. So they had like 9 months to come up with something cool and that's the best they got? I'm telling you, send them your work and they'll be mindblown :P

There were no skin up until yesterday on steam. As you can see, release date on the skin store page is 29 September.....There were of course other skins by the usual shops (DecalGirl and maybe some other online shop that makes skins for electronical devices).

Ye I was living in a cave and didn't know skins was a thing untill this promotion and saw that one. Then I went searching for more because those are kinda meh, and you know the rest. Anyway yours is far better. The only thing they got going on for theirs is the battery door which looks original.

Ye have come across that website. Really great job, it's the only skin I've seen that is not just an image stamped on it and actually has a proper theme going for it.
Contact Valve for them to sell your skin in exchange for a royalty fee :P

Yeah I put some stuff together in photoshop and I used the DecalGirl website to print it out. I used a layout to place what I had in mind (colours, portal gel, icons etc) but used the website to print it (it's a feature of the shop but it's my design).
