How to find the hidden plant boss

This only works on hard mode. On Normal you just get to an empty chamber.
So the way to find the boss is from the checkpoint go up, right, right. That leads you to the large stone tablet there you gotta leave the screen through the upper exit, which will bring you back to the checkpoint.
However if you go left now, you'll see things have changed and you're where you usually are when you go right.
So after going left, go back right and up, up and you're at the harder version of the plant boss.

TL;DR: In hard mode, from forest checkpoint, go up, right, right, up, left, right, up, up and end up in a hidden chamber with a harder version on the plant boss.

Hidden Eyecube Boss

So, yes, there is another Eyecube fight, but I have no idea how to get there with normal means (i.e. without playing around with the gamefiles).

okay, so Mark Foster (one of the Devs) told me it's not officially in the game.

So the only way to access it is by renaming the gamefiles to trick the game into spawning you at the second fight instead of the first.

You gotta rename the boss files. There's one called "Eyecube" and another one called "Eyecube2" (They're in the folder called MAPS) make sure that the file Eyecube2 is renamed Eyecube that way when you enter that door it takes you to the other fight.

i tried the eyecube2，the difficulty is terrible，2 cubes rolling randomly，it almost didnt have certain timing to shoot the eye.i think the level is a ablished sample because its too hard lol
