Four important things to remember
1. DON'T GET USED TO THE CAMERA VIEWS! I'll explain why later in this guide.

2. NEVER USE THE SPOTLIGHT! It might be able to stop the Poultroids where they stand, but it sucks up 5% of your power everytime you use it and it doesn't even hold them for that long. Stick to the Night vision, since it can show you the area and the Poultroids(s) without cleaving a hole in your power gauge.

3. BE QUICK WITH YOUR MOUSE MOVEMENTS AND ACTIONS! An external USB mouse is recommended, especially for the later nights.

4. When you close the shield to block Chickzilla, wait until you hear it walk away before lowering the shield. Lowering the shield anytime sooner will result in a jumpscare.

EDIT: I had previously forgotten one of the poultroid names, but i thank the one in the comments for helping me. for those who didnt notice, i called him Raptor chicken before i learned his name was Plucky
Night 1
Difficulty: Very Easy
First to activate: Plucky
Biggest threat: none

Use this first night to get used to the controls. Be sure to use your Scan button to see inside the building and track their movements, and catch their names. Not much happems on this night. Plucky might pop up at your right door, but that's about it. Also, be sure to keep an eye on the camera that says Silo. There is something big there.
Night 2
Difficulty: Easy
First to activate: Salmonella
Biggest threat: Wingnut or Thighroid

Now the four main Poultroids are all active. Salmonella will be the first to wake up and start heading your way. Plucky follows shortly after. Remember to use the night vision and not the spotlight. As i mentioned, it's more energy efficient and Poultroids don't stay frozen for long anyway. Samonella and Plucky are your main concers. Wingnut and Thighroid shouldn't be that active, but if they are, keep on your toes cuz those two are sneaky. Before this night ends, check the silo to get your foreshadowing of the later nights. Hehehe...
Night 3
Difficulty: Medium
First to activate: Wingnut
Biggest threat: Chickzilla

If it didn't happen last night, its gonna happen this night. You now got to worry about being hit by lightning at complete random and having it activate or deactivate the doors and the shield. And to make things even worse, the most annoying poultroid Chickzilla is gonna activate this night at 4 AM. Fun times. Your only reason to check the camera tonight is to see when the poultroids are up and to check on the Silo for the new threat. This is the night where you don't wanna use your camera much.

This is where i explain the first important thing to remember. Once Chickzilla exits the Silo, it can no longer be seen on camera. He... She... IT will only ever appear in front of your ship. It's arrival can only be noticed once it starts stomping around and shaking your screen, and it can only be seen by the short lived bursts of illumination given by the lightning flashes in the background. So from here on, focus on the doors and the front of your ship.
Night 4
Difficulty: Medium-Hard
First to activate: Wingnut or Salmonella
Biggest threat: Chickzilla

With the Poultroids now using stealth and Chickzilla permanently active, it's time to put the camera down and never pick it up again! From this night onward, you must be quick and attentive. I have an order of actions which I made that really helps in these later nights. Perform them in this order:

1. When the night starts, just stare at the front view or the windshield, whatever its called. As each Poultroid activates, it can be seen in this front view before it enters your ship. So there is no need to check the doors until one enters your ship. Chickzilla may also attempt an early night assault so keep watch!

2. When one enters your ship, be swift and check both doors in between lightning flashes. Go in a left-to-right or a right-to-left pattern, whichever you feel comfortable with. You wanna be quick and try to check both doors before the next flash of lightning. Unless you have been listening to it's stomping or you can notice it's silhouette in the dark, get a hang of the movement rhythm. You'll need to.

Beware of the lightning that strikes your ship. The power surge can either help you or get you killed.
Night 5
Difficulty: Hard
First to activate: Wingnut or Plucky
Biggest threats: Wingnut and Chickzilla

Stick to the pattern I said on night 4. Wingnut is the most likely to appear at your door first, and Chickzilla gets a little faster this night. Be quick and stick to the pattern and you shouldn't have much trouble this night
Night 6
Difficulty: Very Hard
First to activate: Thighroid
Biggest threats: Wingnut, Salmonella, Thighroid, and Chickzilla

This night has two words to describe it. As Cluck Yegger says in the cutscene: "holy crap!"

And Cluck is right. This night is gonna have a lot of chaos. Everyone is coming at you(except Plucky who takes his time), the Poultroids are gonna start camping by your doors, and now Chickzilla can sprint...

Just don't panic, and stick to the pattern.
Night 7
Difficulty: Insane
First to activate: ??????
Biggest threats: EVERYONE

What make this night hard
  • Poultroids practically teleport into your ship, as they can no longer be spotted in the front view. Such occasions are tough to spot on this final night

  • Chickzilla is apparenlly related to the looney tunes roadrunner

  • Power surge can and will get you killed via bad timing

  • There is a 45% chance the Poultroid will camp by your door, causing more power to be lost.

Just try not to let your fear of getting jumpscared overtake you. Be calm and swift on the mouse. Just memorize the pattern(by now you should have gotten it down), and keep an eye and ear open for Chickzilla. If you aren't too careless, you should pass the night with 1% power, like I did.

Yes. You were likely doing a lot of things wrong.
Remember, this is a Five Nights at Freddy's style game. It's all about resource management. You have to be aware of how much power you're using. I'm going to assume you had the camera up too much and that's what caused you to lose over half your power on the first night.
