Introduction to Steam
No, not Steam as in valve, but actual steam istelf in Besiege. In Besiege, to make steam you need to heat up a water cannon (Ex:With Torch) and turn on the cannon. With steam, there are many purposes and in this guide i will teach you some information about steam and what i find the main purpose is; Propulsion.
The 2 Types of Propulsion
Here i will show you the 2 types of propulsion you can use with steam. The first is with using for shooting projectiles like bombs, rocks, grenades, and more.

This is one of my creations that i simply call a Bomblauncher (Pretty generic but there is a limit to how many lettters there can be in a vehicle name). It represents using steam to shoot a projectile, and its case it is a bomb. First, bring back the 2 back grabbers to hold the vehicle in place (Steam pushes it back). Then set the steam cannons to the angle you want to shoot and turn them on. Finally, tilt the rack of bombs down towards the steam cannons, thus propelling them and quite far.

The second type of propulsion is using it for movement. Here is a vehicle using steam and unpowered wheels to move. Steam pointing a direction without a block infront of it will push the vehicle the opposite way it is shooting the steam. Steam pointing in a direction with a block infront of it pushes the vehicle the way the steam cannon is facing.

If you make this but pointing upward the vehicle will fly. Finally you can make a steam powered flying vehicle without zero gravity mode on. If you like things that drift, you can make a steam powered vehicle using halpipes to move due to their low friction.

Conclusion
I hope this guide was useful to you and if you liked, leave a like or comment. (Dont judge too much, it is my first guide).
