Portal Bumps
By MR WORLDWIDE
A documentation of some of the Portal Bumps that can be performed in Portal, and some that I have found myself (so far). Of course this isn't finished yet, so please comment if I missed any!

What is a Portal Bump?
A Portal bump is a naturally programmed feature that occurs when a portal is placed on an object, and another portal is attempted to be placed on the same object. When doing so, the second portal is "bumped" to the surface located next to it (only if it is portalable). This only works in cases where the object is surrounded by an object made out of the same substance, and when preformed correctly, can help break the game in crazy ways.
Chamber 15
There are many different spots in which you can portal bump in Chamber 15, the first of them being immediately at the start of the chamber, where you can portal bump to the other side of the glass as seen here:

The next spot in this chapter can be found in the area right after the first room, where in the small chamber you use to fling yourself over the glass (since in this room, the floor is non-portalable) you can portal bump out of bounds in the small pit area, as shown here:

In this same room, you can also portal bump under the second set of glass using the same method as used in the first room, and you can portal bump to the other side of the glass by using the wall near the entrance to the floating platform section.

Another notable spot in which the player can portal bump can be found in the first room of the chamber with the high energy pellet. If you aim your portal gun at a very specific spot on the glass on the other side of the room, you can shoot a portal right through it! After you enter, and with some precision, you can then portal bump to the other side of the wall, skipping the entirety of the energy pellet room. This sequence of events can be shown here:

Chamber 16
The first spot in this chamber in which you can portal bump is at the very beginning of the chamber, right as you step out of the elevator. While GLaDOS is talking, if you are quick enough, you can utilize a tricky portal bump on the ceiling right above the door to get to the other side of the door before she finishes speaking. The portal bump can be shown here:

The second spot where you can portal bump in Chamber 16 is located in the room with the first turret (or the first room of the chamber), where if you place two portals in the same spot on the ceiling above the glass, you can portal bump to the other side, as shown here:

The next spot in Chamber 16 where you can portal bump is located in the room right after the first turret, where you can portal bump out of bounds using the wall to the left of the entrance to the next room, as shown here:

The next spot where you can portal bump can be found next to this chambers' Ratman Den location, where in the corner behind the opening, you can portal bump out of bounds, as shown here:

Another spot where you can portal bump can be found in the room with the three turrets (and can also be attempted in the room with the broken cube dispenser), where you can portal bump under the glass, as shown here:
Chamber 17
You can portal bump under the glass that leads to the incinerator room, skipping a huge portion of the chamber, as shown here:
The Escape
This section of the game has a lot of Portal Bumps!

The first two spots where you can portal bump are right after you escape the fire room, in the room that contains some deactivated turrets, you can portal bump out of bounds using a wall under the staircase, and portal bump out of bounds using the wall behind and to the left of the turrets.

The next spot where you can portal bump can be found in the abandoned computer room, where you can portal bump into a projector room by placing portals on the floor, as shown here:

Once in the computer room, there are two observation rooms connected to it. In the first room, if you shoot a portal at a specific spot by the window, the portal will bump into the empty room on the other side, as shown here:

If you manage to slip into the empty room (which is an unfinished version of Chamber 14, and this portal bump may or may not work in Chamber 14 as well), you can preform yet another portal bump on the wall next to the entrance to the empty energy pellet room, as shown here: (Beware! Doing this will trap you in this room unless you go back to a previous save or use console commands.)

In the second observation room, if you shoot at a specific spot by the window yet again, the portal will also bump into the room on the other side (Doing this helps skip a few rooms and the pipe ride section), as shown here:

Another spot where you can portal bump can be found in the rocket turret room, where you can portal bump under the glass without activating the turret, as shown here:

Yet another spot where you can portal bump can be found in the room just outside the rocket turret room, with the pipe where you blast open to obtain a cube which helps you progress. This spot can be found in the area just beyond the pane of glass you must destroy, where using a wall just to the right of it, you can portal bump out of bounds, as shown here:

Perhaps one of the most famous portal bumps can be found in the area just after the turret barrage room, right after you cross the balcony above. In the small room that leads to the area before GLaDOS's chamber, you can portal bump out of bounds in the corner of the room, as shown here:

In the same room, you can also portal bump out of bounds on a wall just to the left of the end of the balcony, as shown here:

Yet another portal bump spot can be found in this same room, where you can portal bump to the other side of the door, as shown here:

Another spot where you can portal bump can be found in the area right before GLaDOS's chamber, where you can portal bump into a projector room by placing portals on the floor, as shown here:

Once inside the projector room just mentioned, you can portal bump out of bounds when placing portals on the wall to the left of the projector screen, as shown here:

GLaDOS's Chamber
Although you wouldn't think you would be able to portal bump anywhere in GLaDOS's Chamber, you can actually preform a tricky portal bump by the door in which you enter that allows you to escape the room entirely while GLaDOS starts her monologue and before the door closes behind you.
Once you enter her chamber, crouch and move slowly into the room just enough that you aren't touching the material emanicpation grill (AKA: The forcefield that makes your portals disappear) and close enough to the entrance that you don't trigger the door to close and GLaDOS to speak. Once you position yourself just right, fire a portal on the ground and move back a bit, then fire the other portal at the ground near it and eventually you will have portal bumped through the emancipation grill to the other side! With careful timing, you can then jump into the first portal and through the other side of the second one just as the door closes behind you. It's a bit tricky, but now you are free of the confines of the room before the battle started! This entire sequence of events can be shown here:

There is a bump in chamber 11 in the last room, where the elevator is. Look at Portal Done Pro-Commentary Videos to see it (I think it's Part 5, not sure). The bump can be used to skip chamber 12.
