I did have the same issue, but I resolved it by deleting absolutely everything, redownloading again, and trying to join server.
Haven't disconnected after joining either.
So it appears to be fixed!
Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

@Susurrus - Went ahead and applied update, when you see this if you can please give it another try and let me know the results, thanks!

And for anyone hosting this theater on their server, please notice the change in the Workshop description for the mp_theater_override command.

No problem.
Thanks for the responses and assistance.

I'm going to apply a fix that will definitely work later tonight when the server drops in usage. Sorry for the issues.

Still getting that same consistency error unfortunately.
But yes, that's the server I'm attempting to join.

It seems really strange to me, as I hadn't been having any issue joining last time I played; I reckon maybe a week ago that would've been.

I'm going to assume you are joining the server I host? at: 70.42.74.170:27015, if so, I just did some stuff to the server since this isn't the first time I have heard of this problem, so if you could try joining then confirm if it works or not would be appreciated.

[Comment 2/2]
Deleted the game entirely, redownloaded, reinstalled, tried to join, and it appeared to 'stall' downloading the content.
So I quit, downloaded the relevant mods directly from the Workshop, and I get the same 'consistency' error.

Any ideas as to a solution?

So this is the first time I've encountered this issue but:
I tried joining the Armory server, it kept crashing within a minute or two of having joined.
I could choose my loadout, hit 'play', and within a minute it would crash to desktop.

Then, upon verifying game integrity and that fixing some things, I kept receiving the following error:
"server is enforcing consistency for this file:
scripts/theaters/theater_thearmory12p_default_checkpoint.theater"

So I deleted everything in the workshop folder for Insurgency, deleted all the custom maps, tried again.
Same issue.

Deleted the game entirely, redownloaded, reinstalled, tried to join, and it appeared to 'stall' downloading the content.
So I quit, downloaded the relevant mods directly from the Workshop, and I get the same 'consistency' error.

I should have fixed most of the stuff with the most recent update, let me know if you run into any problems. The problem you reported though about the players running around with their arms out was a clientside issue this last patch. Just meant the creator of the custom character model/skin had not recompiled yet.

The Jan 27 patch seems to have broken some stuff. Namely AK series rifles 3rd person models, AT4 animations and some people are reporting that players are running around with their arms out. I did a clean reinstall (deleted all workshop content from HD as well) and checked it, problem remains. Not sure if this is something NWI has to fix or insgamer. Great mod, but it ticks me off how much workshop stuff breaks with every official patch.
