How To help fix a Co-op connection " The Forest "

If you and a friend start a world and play for a while, your gonna wanna take a break at some point. So you and your friend stop playing and you two decide oh i want to play again. Oh no stuck on " Starting Client... " here is some possible fixes for your problem. (PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE ATTEMPTING)

First, both close game, and the host restarts his game while the other friend goes to > Start - Search bar and type " cmd " without the quotes into bar and type " ipconfig /release " again without the quotes and wait up to 10 seconds before doing the next step. The next step is to type " ipconfig /renew " without quotes and then wait 15 seconds then close the cmd * NOTE that you may lose connection to online connections for a few seconds during that process *. then try again and give the " Starting Client... " screen up to 2-5 minutes after 5 minutes if it still didnt work then try to unblock the game threw your firewall or port forward the game ( "The Forest"s port is 27000) These are my tips and tricks to solve my connection issues in " The Forest " hopefully they help you.
