Achievement Guide (Spoilers)

A complete achievement guide for Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. The achievements in this game are pretty self-explanatory so I will add as much to them tip wise as I can. This guide contains spoilers...

Calamity Slain

Defeat the boss Wandering Calamity in the Fountain of Prayer during the beginning of the game. You can't miss it!

Duels are Cool

In the first dungeon, you will encounter Geis and he will fight you. Get this by winning the fight which is optional because he can also win.

"Nonplased"

Defeat the boss Zonplas at the top of Grana-Vallis Mountain.

Forgetting Sera’s Marshal

Defeat the boss Ud-Meiyu at the end of the Ruins of Lost Time.

It’s Never Just a Statue

Defeat the boss Orjugan at the Limewater Cave Lake.

The Successor Fails

Defeat Ernst at the end of the game in the Ruined City of Kishgal.

The Ark Lost

Defeat the final boss of the game in the Ruined City of Kishgal.

Because It’s There

Defeat Majuunun a very powerful optional boss in the Ruins of Lost Time.

Tabula Amassa

Acquire every Tabulas, five in total and all found in chests.

Legendary Red-Haired Swordsman

Win a boss fight without taking a single hit. You can get this easy in the final dungeon thanks to the second mini-boss. The achievement will show when you exit the room.

Legendary Red-Haired Stepchild

Win a boss fight with 1 HP remaining. You can get this easy in the final dungeon thanks to the second mini-boss. You can get your HP to exactly 1 before entering the mini-boss room and just kill it quickly. The achievement will show when you exit the room.

Wake Me Up

Complete the game on Nightmare difficulty.

Bag of No Tricks

Complete the game in Catastrophe Mode.

Boss Rush'n Attack

Complete Boss Rush mode on any difficulty.

For the Hoard

Acquire all equipment. This includes swords, sheilds, and armor, 15 in total. You will get these as you play through the story, in chests and from the shops.

You need the Rainbow Fragment equipped to see the platforms for the Black Tabula fyi. It's in the platforming room after the long bridge segment, to the left of the lonely chest on a cliff edge you can either dash jump or backtrack to by falling to the raised path off the chipped bridge. When on the hidden platforms, you want to use the lightning sword's thrust ability to glide under the final wall since afaik you can't jump under or around it.

For the Black Tabulas, you only list the area as being beyond some sort of rainbow platforms. I don't see anything close to looking like that, does the area change later on or something? I recently got the White Tabulas, and since it comes after the Black Tabulas in the item screen, I would have thought it would have come afterward in the game as well.
