Useful Informations
  • You'll get more or less DNA points, depending on where you started. (For example: Egypt gives you 10 Starting DNA, Australia gives 22 etc ...)
  • The Infectivity bar indicates how infectious your disease is.
  • The Severity bar indicates how severe your disease is. The higher the severity, the more DNA points you'll get, the harder humanity will try to cure you, the more research is needet to develop a cure.
  • The Lethality bar indicates how lethal your disease is. Since killing humanity is not a goal in multiplayer, the DNA points you'll get from killing people was increased compared to singleplayer. It still makes the disease harder to cure.
  • There are currently 2 possible ways to win:
    • Infect 100% of world population first
    • Have your opponent wiped out (cure or kill all it's hosts)
  • Active Abilities cost 5 DNA after unlocking and the cost increases by 1 every time you use it.

Symptom Trait Tier Explanation

To understand the following tier system, please take a look at the picture. I categorized the traits into tiers. If the line meets the middle of a specific trait, it's in the respective tier. You will also notice, that there are no tier 3 traits on the upper half, but on the lower half ... Half-Life 3 confirmed?

Also, the "Requirements" only contain the traits that are on a lower tier on the same half. It is possible that you can evolve the specific trait by having evolved a trait from a higher tier or from the other half of the same tier.
Symptom Trait (First 5 Tiers upper half)

Irritated stomach lining leads to discomfort. Slight chance of Infection while kissing
Coughing
Chance of infection by spreading pathogen into surroundings, especially in high density, urban areas
Rash
The skin becomes blistered and painful, slightly increasing infectivity
Inflammation
Inflammation obstructs bodily processes. Easier to infect or kill people that are already infected by other diseases

Tier 2

Vomiting
The expulsion of infected material through projectile vomiting increases the risk of infection
Sweating OR Nausea
Sneezing
Fluid discharge through sneezing greatly increases infection rates
