Sweet FX 2.0 for vibrant colors and scanlines

Introduction

This is a simple mod to improve the colors.
Thanks to Sweet FX 2.0 you can have vibrant colors and add scanlines.
You can also turn On/Off the effect on fly in game.

Installation

Extremely easy.

1) Download the SweetFX KOF.rar
DOWNLOAD[drive.google.com]

2) Unzip the contents into your game installation folder.

3) That's all !

When you start the game, in the upper left, some written alert you of activation.

You can use "Scroll Lock" to toggle the effect on or off.
The "Print Screen" button will take a screenshot into the game folder.

Uninstallation:

Delete the file installed ^_^

Comparison

Add scanlines

1) Go to the Game folder.

2) Open "SweetFX" folder.

3) Open SweetFX_settings.txt.

4) Change "#define USE_ADVANCED_CRT" from 0 to 1 and save.


Now the game is ready.

For a bettter scanlines effect set the game resolution to 720

Rollback update compatibility

After the rollback update the game became a 64-bit program.
In order to use this mod, you need to run the 32-bit version

How to play the 32-bit version

1) Go into your game installation folder.
2) Remove or rename the file "KingOfFighters2002UM_x64.exe"
3) Copy and paste "KingOfFighters2002UM.exe"
4) Rename the "KingOfFighters2002UM.exe" copy into "KingOfFighters2002UM_x64.exe"

Now you have the "KingOfFighters2002UM.exe" file and the copy of the same file renamed to "KingOfFighters2002UM_x64.exe"

The game will now run in 32-bit mode and the mod will work

Conclusion

This simply mod can be used to KoF98Um and KoFXIII too !

The files and the procedure is the same.

It does still work. What I had to do was rename the files.
"KingOfFighters2002UM_x64.exe" into "KingOfFighters2002UM.exe" and vice versa.

Trying to run the 32bit exe from the installation folder would not work!

I followed all the steps, didn't work.
I ran it on 32 bit version, yet when I launch the game nothing appears on the top left corner.
I press scroll lock, nothing happen.
Does it need an update or something?
